Description
The Digitone 2 is a powerful 16-voice polyphonic digital synthesizer and multitimbral groovebox that evolves the architecture of its predecessor. It utilizes a modular-style "machine" system, allowing users to select from various synthesis engines including FM Tone, FM Drum, Swarmer, and Wavetable. The instrument features a deep 128-step sequencer with Euclidean pattern generation, per-track arpeggiators, and extensive parameter locking capabilities. Its sound-shaping toolkit includes multiple filter models, such as comb and 24dB lowpass, alongside a dedicated master compressor and send effects like reverb, delay, and chorus. With 16 tracks that can be assigned to internal synthesis or external MIDI control, it functions as a comprehensive centerpiece for both studio production and live performance.Media
