Der EarthQuaker Devices Plumes basiert auf dem legendären grünen Overdrive Pedal, das seit Jahrzehnten als Industriestandard gilt. Im Zusammenspiel mit einem guten Röhrenverstärker erzeugt der Plumes eine warme, transparente Sättigung. EarthQuaker verzichtet auf den bewährten JRC4558 OpAmp und die BJT Buffer und ersetzt sie in der Schaltung durch Low Noise JFET OpAmps für einen präziseren Sound mit deutlich geringerem Grundrauschen. Mit 10 Megaohm Eingangsimpedanz bietet das Pedal einen wunderbar klaren, detaillierten Sound. Der Arbeitsbereich des Tone-Reglers wurde ebenfalls angepasst um mit einem satteren Low End ein breiteres Spektrum an möglichen Sounds zu bieten. 

Zusätzlich bietet der Plumes drei wählbare Clipping-Modi um den Sound des Pedals an möglichst viele Stilrichtungen und unterschiedlichstes Equipment anpassen zu können. Mode 1 bietet symmetrisches Clipping, basierend auf einem Paar LEDs. Das Setting bietet den sattesten Crunch und den klassischen Sound eines übersteuerten Röhrenverstärkers. Mode 2 ist ein Clean Boost ohne Soft Clipping, perfekt um den Clean Sound im Mix nach vorne zu bringen oder den Preamp eines Verstärkers in die Sättigung zu fahren. Mode 3 nutzt asymmetrisches Clipping mit Silizium Dioden und klingt am ehesten nach einem originalen Screamer. Im direkten Vergleich liefert das Setting aber mehr Output und klarere Clean Sounds.

Darüber hinaus verfügt der Plumes auch über EarthQuaker Devices 'Soft Touch' Flexi-Switch-Funktion, mit der du im Handumdrehen zwischen Momentary Modus und traditionellem Latching wählen kannst.

The EarthQuaker Devices Plumes is based on the legendary green overdrive pedal, which has been the industry standard for decades. In combination with a good tube amp, the Plumes creates a warm, transparent saturation. EarthQuaker Devices relinquishes the trusted JRC4558 OpAmp and BJT Buffers and replaces them with low noise JFET OpAmps for a more robust and precise signal with a significantly lower noise floor. With 10 megohms of input impedance, the pedal provides a stronger signal with more clarity and chime. EarthQuaker Devices adjusted the cutoff of the tone control to deliver a more useful range of travel with more booming bass on the low end without sacrificing the cutting midrange and bright top end.

In addition, the Plumes offers three selectable clipping modes to ensure that it will work with a wide variety of gear and playing styles. Mode 1 is symmetrical clipping based on a pair of LEDs. This is the crunchiest setting the Plumes has to offer. When played through a clean amp, it will deliver that classic crunchy valve amp tone. Mode 2 is a clean boost without soft clipping and with straight OpAmp drive, perfect for pushing your clean tone out in front or driving the preamp of an already overdriven amp into breakup saturation. Mode 3 is an asymmetrical silicon diode arrangement like an original screamer but with more output and clean clarity.

The Plumes features EarthQuaker Devices relay-based 'soft touch' Flexi-Switch Technology for both momentary and latching footswitch operation.

Der Flexi Switch Momentary Modus wird aktiviert, indem du den Fußschalter so lange gedrückt hältst, wie du den Effekt verwenden willst. Lasse ihn los und dein Signal ist wieder dry. Um das Dispatch Master als normales Pedal zu verwenden, drücke den Schalter einfach einmal, um es zu aktivieren, und erneut, um es in Bypass zu schalten. Das Dispatch Master V3 wird in Ohio, USA handgefertigt.

The Dispatch Master V3 is a delay and reverb pedal, whose effects can be used independently or simultaneously. It has 1.5 seconds of delay time and a dynamic reverb that goes from natural and roomy to cavernous and deep. It features controls for Time, Repeats, Reverb and Mix and it's true bypass. The V3 version features the new Flexi-Switch™ Technology, which allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching-style switching. It's based on the silent relay-based soft touch switching! It works by pressing and holding the footswitch for as long as the effect it's been used, releasing it, and resuming for dry sound. To use the Dispatch Master as a normal effects pedal, press the switch once to activate and again to bypass. The Dispatch Master V3 is hand made in Ohio, USA.

Auch dieses Gerät ist absolut roadtauglich, aber das war nicht anders zu erwarten, denn rund um den Globus findet man unzählige Pedale von TC, die sich seit Jahrzehnten klaglos im Dauereinsatz befinden.

Über den Attack-Regler des CS-3 legst du fest, wie schnell die Schaltung diese Anpassung vornimmt. Durch das Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn bleiben Saitenanschläge stärker erhalten und sorgen für einen knackigeren, perkussiven Klang. Je mehr du den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehst, desto mehr werden die Signalspitzen abgesenkt. Der Sustain-Regler steuert die Stärke der Kompression und sorgt für einen straffen Sound und ein natürliches Sustain ohne Verzerrungen.
Das CS-3 basiert auf einer leistungsfähigen VCA-Schaltung, die eine stabile und gleichmäßige Kompression mit minimalem Grundrauschen ermöglicht. Mit seinem charakteristischen, ausgewogenen Ansprech- und Kompressionsverhalten sorgt das Pedal für einen transparenten Klang über alle Spielstile hinweg. Ob knackige Country-Licks, druckvolle Power-Chords oder singende Soli – das CS-3 überzeugt als unverzichtbares Werkzeug für einen besseren Sound.
Mit dem Tone-Regler wird das CS-3 noch vielseitiger. Hierüber kontrollierst du den EQ des komprimierten Signals. Stärkere Einstellungen betonen die hohen Frequenzen und für einen schärferen, schneidenden Sound – perfekt für glockenklare Arpeggi, funkige Rhythmen und Passagen, die besonders herausstechen sollen. Je mehr du den Regler zurückdrehst, desto softer werden die Höhen, was einen warmen, weicheren Sound erzeugt, der sich besonders für Genre wie Jazz und Neo Soul eignet. Ganz egal, ob du eine Extraportion Biss oder Samt benötigst – mit dem CS-3 kannst du deinen Sound flexibel an deine Musik anpassen.

Compression evens out volume differences by lowering loud sounds and raising quiet ones. The CS-3's Attack knob lets you set how quickly the circuit makes this adjustment. Turning it clockwise preserves string attacks more strongly and creates a crisper, more percussive sound. The more you turn the knob counterclockwise, the more the signal peaks are reduced. The sustain knob controls the strength of the compression and ensures a tight sound and natural sustain without distortion.
The CS-3 is based on a powerful VCA circuit that provides stable and consistent compression with minimal noise. With its characteristic balanced response and compression characteristics, the pedal delivers transparent sound across all playing styles. Whether crisp country licks, powerful power chords, or singing solos, the CS-3 is an indispensable tool for better sound.
The tone control makes the CS-3 even more versatile. It lets you control the EQ of the compressed signal. Stronger settings emphasize the high frequencies and create a sharper, more cutting sound—perfect for crystal-clear arpeggios, funky rhythms, and passages that need to stand out. The more you turn the control back, the softer the highs become, creating a warm, softer sound that is particularly suitable for genres such as jazz and neo soul. Der Gecko MKIII bietet Musikern drei wählbare Schalt-Modi (Select, Instant, Direct) für insgesamt 20 Presets. Jedes Preset kann ein Program Change (PC) Signal in jedem der 16 MIDI-Kanäle speichern. Außerdem lässt sich in jedem MIDI-Kanal das Control Change (CC) Signal festlegen, das gesendet wird, wenn man den OK/TAP Fußschalter tritt. Da man das CC Signal für jeden Kanal frei bestimmen kann, lässt sich so das Tap Tempo von bis zu 16 Geräten gleichzeitig kontrollieren.

With an increasing number of guitar pedals being built with MIDI capabilities, having the ability to access presets in a quick and efficient manner has become an important part of playing live. The Gecko MKIII gives guitarists three modes to access programs (Select, Instant, Direct) and features 20 presets. Each preset can store one PC (program change) message for each of 16 MIDI channels. Also, for each MIDI channel, you can set the CC number to send when pressing the OK/TAP footswitch and use it as tap tempo control. Since you can set individual CC numbers for each channel, you can control tap tempo of up to 16 devices at once.

Mit Speicherplätzen für bis zu 99 Loops und einer Gesamtaufnahmezeit von 60 Minuten hält der TC Ditto+ jedes Arrangement fest, wobei das große und helle Display die wichtigsten Informationen bereithält. Der innovative Extended-Loop-Modus des Ditto+ ermöglicht darüber hinaus, Overdubs über mehrere Wiederholungen einer bestehenden Phrase zu spielen.
