With Bass and Treble controls you can cut or boost lows and highs and shape the tonal character of the effect. For a wide stereo sound, select the TRS (tip-ring-sleeve) Stereo Hardwire Bypass Mode via an internal switch. In this mode, you can use a TRS to TS (tip-sleeve) Y-splitter cable to send the effect signal to two different amplifiers, allowing the modulation to move from left to right.

We carefully studied our favorite classic tremolo and reverb circuits, examined the sonic complexities and faithfully accounted for every detail in our hand-crafted algorithms. Inspired by the match-made-in-heaven of vintage effects found on 60s American amps, White Whale V2 sets out a new objective to pack bigger real spring reverb and tremolo sounds in the same pedalboard friendly enclosure (17 x 12,5 x 7,5 cm).

The 3-spring reverb tank assembly housed inside White Whale’s enclosure has remained the same, but we have upgraded the power amp driving the springs for increased headroom and wider frequency response. Following the signal topography of vintage units we have also upgraded the dwell control to allow you to dial the right amount of signal that goes into the springs for a mellower or splashier reverb sound. Real spring reverb found in 60s American tube amps and external reverb units featured a tube power amp driving the spring assembly via an output transformer, so we have delicately tuned an analog circuit to emulate the tube and output transformer saturation that was produced on higher dwell settings.

Untergebracht im klassischen BOSS-Compact-Design vereint das JB-2 Angry Driver die Sounds des legendären BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver mit dem beliebten Angry Charlie von JHS Pedals. In enger Zusammenarbeit entwickelten die beiden Pedalhersteller eine völlig neue kombinierte Schaltung mit optimiertem Sound und perfekter Abstimmung für den Dual-Mode-Overdrive-Betrieb.

Das JB-2 Angry Driver verfügt über drei Doppelpotis, die eine unabhängige Regelung von Drive, Tone und Level für jede der beiden Overdrive-Schaltungen ermöglichen. Über einen Sechsfach-Drehschalter lassen sich die beiden Overdrives einzeln oder kombiniert in Serien- oder Parallelbetrieb nutzen. Durch die Möglichkeit, den expressiven Low-to-Mid-Gain-Sound des Blues Driver mit der aggressiven Rock-Stimme des Angry Charlie in jeder erdenklichen Kombination zu mischen, bietet das JB-2 Angry Driver eine enorme Bandbreite und Vielseitigkeit in einem einzigen Overdrive-Pedal.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of BOSS compact pedals, BOSS and JHS Pedals have come together in a historic creative collaboration between the two industry leaders. Housed in the classic BOSS compact design, the JB-2 Angry Driver pairs the tones of the iconic BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver with JHS Pedals’ popular Angry Charlie. Working closely together, the two pedal innovators have developed an all-new combined circuit with refined sound and performance perfectly tuned for dual-mode drive operation.

The JB-2 Angry Driver features three dual-concentric knobs that provide independent drive, tone, and level control for each overdrive type. Via a six-position mode selector, you can use each overdrive independently or combine them in series and parallel configurations. The Supro Tremolo accurately recreates the iconic modulation effects found in iconic amplifiers of the 1960s. With both Amplitude and Harmonic modes, the all-analog Supro Tremolo allows players to switch between swampy tremolo sounds and psychedelic modulating tones. The Supro Tremolo features preamp and power amp sections, including an actual output transformer deployed to recreate the magnetic saturation characteristic of historic Supro amps. Along with modulation controls for Speed and Depth, the Supro Tremolo provides Gain control with automatic output level compensation. Additionally, the pedal features an assignable Expression pedal control to adjust the Speed function. Runs on 9-18VDC.
