Es lebt von einer warmen, analogen Klangqualität, die perfekt für kreative Musiker ist, die mehr als digitale Präzision suchen.

Der Sound des Double Dragon ist vollständig analog und bietet eine tiefe, fette Sub-Oktave, die als Grundlage dient, sowie eine höhere Oktave, die irgendwo zwischen einer Octavia und einem Superfuzz liegt. The left footswitch turns the unit on and off, while the right footswitch activates the OCT+ effect.

The Double Dragon is particularly well suited for use in combination with overdrive pedals such as the Tube Screamer to boost the midrange, or with fuzz to create maximum chaos. For a synth-like texture, we recommend combining it with pitch vibrato. Oft kopiert aber nie erreicht, rangiert das schwer zu findende, originale, Phase 90 bei den Sammlern alter Bodentreter ganz weit oben. Das Original - seit der Gründung der Firma Dunlop bis in die späten 70er Jahre erhältlich – definierte den klassischen Phase Shifter Sound und war in allen Musikstilen zu hören, egal ob Hard Rock, Jazz-Fusion oder Funk-Hits. Der nach dem Kultpedal der Firma designte Phaser kommt puritanisch mit einem Regler aus, über den der Phaser-Speed einstellbar ist. Eine rote LED über dem stabilen Fußschalter zeigt den Schaltstatus an. Das massive Spritzgußgehäuse verfügt über jeweils 1/4" Klinke In- und Out-Eingänge. Betrieben wird der Kulttreter mit einer 9V Batterie, die in einem leicht zugänglichen Batteriefach auf der Unterseite Platz findet. Es ist erhältlich in der ursprünglichen orangenen Farbe.

The ARP-87 is a compact, feature-rich delay, packed with a large pallet of inspirational delay tones. Featuring four main algorithms, digital, analog, lo-fi, and slap back, the ARP-87 can cover some serious ground in the world of echoes.

The Digital algorithm boasts pristine, crystal clear repeats great for rhythmic riffs. The Analog setting works well to add warmth and dimension to chords and lines without getting in the way. The Lo-Fi algorithm, with its adjustable frequency range on the repeats, goes from warm, warped, and murky, to strait AM radio. Finally, the Slap setting makes it easy to dial in a great slap back echo perfect for smoking chicken pickin’ runs. With other features like our smart bypass switching, and momentary knob ramp, the ARP-87 provides endless creative opportunities that are waiting to be explored.

Die Schaltung bewahrt das gewaltige Bassfundament und die klaren Höhen der alten Sovtek-Geräte und fügt eine fußschaltbare parametrische Mitten-EQ-Sektion mit einstellbarer Frequenz und Q-Bandbreite hinzu. Ein integriertes Noise Gate mit einstellbarem Schwellenwert hilft dabei, das Rauschen bei hoher Verstärkung zu kontrollieren, und ein Blend-Regler ermöglicht das Mischen des Direktsignals mit dem Fuzz, was besonders für Bassisten von Vorteil ist. Das Pedal verfügt außerdem über einen "Wicker"-Schalter zur Verbesserung des Hochfrequenz-Attacks sowie einen Eingang für ein Expression-Pedal für Frequenz-Sweeps in Echtzeit. The Electro-Harmonix Sovtek Deluxe Big Muff Pi is an expansive fuzz/distortion pedal that integrates the signature tones of the "Civil War" and "Tall Font" Green Russian Big Muffs with advanced sound-shaping features. The circuit maintains the devastating low end and crisp highs of the vintage Sovtek units while adding a foot-switchable parametric Mids EQ section with adjustable frequency and Q bandwidth. A built-in noise gate with an adjustable threshold helps manage high-gain hiss, and a Blend knob allows for mixing the dry signal with the fuzz, which is especially beneficial for bass players. The pedal also features a "Wicker" switch to enhance high-frequency attack and an expression pedal input for real-time frequency sweeps. This combination of classic analog grit and modern utility makes it one of the most versatile iterations of the Big Muff design.
