Years in the making and the first of its kind, Cosmosis is a stereo, high-fidelity ambient reverb that allows musicians to tailor three original spaces—Theatre, Temple, and Cosmos—as well as manipulate them in real time. In addition to controls for the size of the reverb, wet/dry blend, and filtering, Cosmosis features a unique Morph function that allows musicians to alter their reverb settings in real-time by pressing the left footswitch. The three space algorithms found inside of Cosmosis are all-original and truly unique. Theatre puts the player in a variable room that ranges from cozy to highly reflective using multiple parallel short reverberators. Temple occupies a dramatic, large indoor space by implementing numerous long reflections in both parallel and series. And Cosmos creates an enormous spectrum of heavenly reverb derived from the harmonic content it’s fed. The Morph feature found in Cosmosis provides a simple way for players to trigger a gradual change to various reverb parameters over a specified amount of time set by the accompanying Morph Rate knob. Players can set both “red” and “green” values on their Tone, Blend, and Size knobs, then engage the Morph footswitch to oscillate between the two reverbs at their desired rate. Any combination of knobs can be assigned to morph. Create elegant morphs for subtle movement or sweeping, cinematic morphs for dramatic sound design effects. Save up to four custom reverb presets, including morphing. Cosmosis runs on standard 9VDC power.

A uniquely designed steel enclosure made with quality components throughout. My goal was to spare no expense. I realize that sometimes in the world of guitar gear, there isn’t always one answer in choosing the best components and designs, so I just picked my favorites. This includes Switchcraft 11 open frame jacks, and a super quiet soft touch switching system via an internal relay.

I have been working on this project for the better part of three years, as a collaboration and with engineering by Jon Ashley of Bondi Effects. I feel that the pedal is unique in design and sonically unlike anything I have ever heard, especially in the lower gain and boost settings. There is a subtlety that feels more like a vintage pedal than a modification of a classic. There are two circuits present in the pedal, one distortion and one preamp boost, running at 18v via an internal voltage regulator. I made this pedal with the idea to create a distinction for my own sound, and what I found is that it is an extremely useful tool for capturing a lot of different types of sounds. I am most proud of the lower gain side, as I feel it is the most unique section of the pedal, but I must also include that the gain section is extremely sweet sounding throughout, especially for heavy and complex chords. There is a midrange punch that I love and a warmth and thickness that reminds me a bit of a ribbon mic. When the development of this pedal turned into something new and unique, it became the catalyst to starting 1981 Inventions, so I decided to make this the first official release.

Drawn from the effect engines of the award-winning Nemesis Delay and Ventris Dual Reverb, Collider offers the best delay and reverb effects in one compact, no-compromise package. The pedal allows for any combination of its five delay engines with any of its seven reverb effects and has dedicated ON/OFF switches for each effect. It is also possible to create independent dual delay or dual reverb presets. The pedal has dedicated MIDI input/output as well as support for expression control and remote switching. The Collider contains two completely independent 56-bit DSP processors, essentially housing a high-powered delay pedal and a high-powered reverb pedal in a single box. BERSERK III expands on the circuit family tree that started with the octave section of ODIN. That same circuit can be configured in four different, equally useful and exciting ways. There’s a loud and strong octave fuzz, a precise and pointy octave fuzz, a wide and kind regular fuzz and a bright and loud regular fuzz. For ODIN II and now III, I used the loud octave fuzz and the kind regular fuzz, for a very fun 1-2-punch kind of live package. The regular fuzz lets you fall back into the mix and the octave fuzz allows you to punch through anything when needed.

The new Pop Top Boost from Milkman Sound takes its inspiration from the classic American recording consoles of the 1970s. We designed a discrete Op Amp which fits the standard 2520 footprint and put it into a modern pedal enclosure for use with guitar or any other instrument that uses 1/4” phone connectors.
We designed the Pop Top to run at “unity gain” with the control set at zero. At unity you can hear the discrete op amp color and find a sweet spot without dropping any signal. There is enough headroom inside to use the Pop Top at the very end of a pedal chain even in tandem with other gain and boost pedals.

Das Original - seit der Gründung der Firma Dunlop bis in die späten 70er Jahre erhältlich – definierte den klassischen Phase Shifter Sound und war in allen Musikstilen zu hören, egal ob Hard Rock, Jazz-Fusion oder Funk-Hits. Der nach dem Kultpedal der Firma designte Phaser kommt puritanisch mit einem Regler aus, über den der Phaser-Speed einstellbar ist. Eine rote LED über dem stabilen Fußschalter zeigt den Schaltstatus an. Das massive Spritzgußgehäuse verfügt über jeweils 1/4" Klinke In- und Out-Eingänge. Betrieben wird der Kulttreter mit einer 9V Batterie, die in einem leicht zugänglichen Batteriefach auf der Unterseite Platz findet. Es ist erhältlich in der ursprünglichen orangenen Farbe.

The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer.

Der SOMA '63 Vintage Preamp ist das erste Pedal in der XFR-Serie von Greer Amps und eröffnet eine neue Klangwelt. Der SOMA '63 ist ein echter Vintage-Preamp, der auf dem Klang und dem Gefühl von Vintage-Verstärkern der braunen Ära aus Kalifornien basiert. Dieses Pedal simuliert den gesamten Vorverstärker, den Phasenumkehrer, die Leistungssektion und sogar das Gefühl der alten 10-Zoll-Utah-Lautsprecher, die in diesen berühmten braunen Verstärkern waren. Der Tone Stack ist so konzipiert, dass er dem Benutzer eine breite und dynamische Palette von Klangoptionen bietet. Der Presence-Regler arbeitet mit dem Tone-Stack zusammen und ist als Weitbereichsregler ausgelegt, der den Gesamtsound der gesamten Schaltung beeinflusst. Der SOMA '63 verfügt über einen Stahlkern-Transformator im Audio-Signalweg. Der Transformator trägt zur Klangformung des gesamten Schaltkreises bei, und wenn die Verstärkung stark angehoben wird, insbesondere bei Tonabnehmern mit höherem Output, wird der kleine Stahlkern-Transformator in die Sättigung gehen, genau wie bei einem klassischen Verstärker. Der SOMA '63 kann als tonformende Vorstufe oder als Overdrive-Pedal verwendet werden. Das SOMA '63 bietet eine große Auswahl an Sounds.

A brave new world of tone, the SOMA ‘63 Vintage Preamp is the first pedal in the XFR series of pedals from Greer Amps. The SOMA ’63 is a true vintage preamp, based on the tone and feel of vintage brown era amplifiers from California. This pedal simulates the entire preamp, phase inverter, power section, and even the feel of the vintage 10 inch Utah speakers that were in those famous brown amps. The tone stack is designed to provide a wide and dynamic range of tonal options to the user. The Presence control works with the tone stack, and is designed to be a wide range control, effecting the overall sound of the entire circuit. The SOMA ’63 features a steel core transformer in the audio signal path. The transformer lends to the overall tone shaping of the circuit, and when the gain is pushed hard, especially with higher output pickups, the small steel core transformer will saturate, just like a vintage amplifier. The SOMA ’63 can be used as a tone-shaping preamp, or as an overdrive pedal. There are a wide variety of tones available in the SOMA ’63, so spend some time with your new pedal, and find the tones that rock your world!
