Description

The Helios by Effectrode is a high-end vacuum tube fuzz pedal that utilizes subminiature tubes to deliver a distinctive, harmonically rich tone. It features a unique circuit based on a vintage, hand-selected space-grade pencil tube and N.O.S. point-contact germanium crystal diodes. This design provides natural tube compression and a dynamic response that transitions from subtle overdrive to intense, saturated fuzz. A "Fire" toggle switch allows users to engage a higher gain mode for even more aggressive textures and sustain. Unlike many solid-state fuzzes, the Helios is known for its clarity and its ability to clean up exceptionally well with the guitar's volume knob. It is hand-built in the United Kingdom to professional standards for studio and stage use.
