Das EarthQuaker Devices Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3 bietet Distortion, Boost und einen regelbaren Octave-Up Effekt in einem kompakten Effektpedal. Die 'Amplitude' Sektion des Pedals basiert auf dem klassischen 'White Face' Distortion Pedal, die Schaltung wurde jedoch um drei wählbare Clipping-Modi erweitert. Die erste Position (No Diode OpAmp Drive) bietet einen satten Drive bei maximalem Volume. Die zweite Position nutzt zwei Silizium-Dioden und eine LED in einer asymmetrischen Clipping-Konfiguration und erzeugt einen leicht komprimierten, smoothen Crunch, der an einen übersteuerten Verstärker erinnert. Die dritte Position nutzt zwei Silizium-Dioden und erzeugt den klassischen 'White Face' Sound. Die Octave-Up Sektion arbeitet komplett analog und lässt sich über einen Regler oder ein optionales Expression Pedal stufenlos mit der Verzerrung mischen. Der monophone Effekt arbeitet am 'saubersten' mit einzelnen Noten oberhalb des 12. Bundes, die über den Neck Pickup gespielt werden. Akkorde erzeugen einen chaotischen, 'scheppernden' Sound. Dreht man den Octave-Regler voll auf erzeugt das Sunn O))) Life Pedal V2 einen dreckigen, wütenden Fuzz-Sound, der an das Super Fuzz erinnert. Die 'Magnitude' Sektion ist ein MOSFET Booster, der Röhrenverstärker in die Sättigung treibt. Der Booster arbeitet komplett clean und fügt dem Signal selbst keine Verzerrung hinzu, bietet dafür aber ein extrem hohes Output Level um das Front End des Amps zu pushen. Der Signalweg geht Octave > Distortion > Boost, dabei lassen sich beide Sektionen unabhängig voneinander nutzen.

The EarthQuaker Devices Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3 offers distortion, boost and an adjustable octave-up effect in a compact effects pedal. The 'Amplitude' section of the pedal is based on the classic 'White Face' distortion pedal, but the circuitry has been expanded to include three selectable clipping modes. The first position (No Diode OpAmp Drive) offers a rich drive at maximum volume. The second position uses two silicon diodes and a LED in an asymmetrical clipping configuration and produces a slightly compressed, smooth crunch reminiscent of an overdriven amp. The third position uses two silicon diodes and produces the classic 'white face' sound. The Octave-Up section is completely analogue and can be mixed with the distortion via a knob or an optional expression pedal. The monophonic effect works 'cleanest' with single notes above the 12th fret played through the neck pickup. Chords produce a chaotic, 'clanging' sound. Turning the Octave control all the way up, the Sunn O))) Life Pedal V2 produces a dirty, angry fuzz sound reminiscent of the Super Fuzz. The 'Magnitude' section is a MOSFET booster that drives tube amps into saturation. The booster works completely clean and adds no distortion to the signal itself, but offers an extremely high output level to push the front end of the amp. The signal path goes Octave > Distortion > Boost, and both sections can be used independently of each other.

The Colby Fuzz from EarthQuaker Engineering is a quality Fuzz pedal based on the classic Park Fuzz Sound. Park Amplification was born from Marshall Amplification, originally started by Jim Marshall himself. Park only produced a select few effects pedals amongst their amps, and most were just generic variations of 'wah' pedals, however they created one device that would stand out way above the rest: The Park Fuzz. The Warden ist ein analoges Kompressor-Pedal mit klassischer Opto-Elektronikschaltung in kompromissloser Studioqualität. Auch bei The Warden setzt EarthQuaker Devices auf High-Grade-Bauteile. The Warden ist ein dank seiner sechs Regelmöglichkeiten (Tone, Level, Sustain, Ratio, Attack und Release) äußerst vielseitig einstellbares Kompressor-Pedal. Von einer kaum wahrnehmbaren, aber wirkungsvollen Kompression bis hin zu heftig komprimierten Tönen mit schnellem Attack reicht das Spektrum von The Warden. Die 9V-Netzgerätespannung wird intern in 18V umgewandelt, was für erweiterten Headroom und gesteigerte Dynamik sorgt. Die Opto-elektronische Schaltung bewirkt eine charakterstarke Kompression und der Tone-Regler ermöglicht sowohl Treble-Boosts als auch Treble-Cuts. The Warden ist mit einem True Bypass ausgestattet und wird in Handarbeit in Ohio/USA hergestellt. Der Warden V2 verfügt über einen geräuschlosen, relais-basierten Soft-Touch Fußschalter. The Warden is an analog, optical compressor with a feature set usually reserved for studio grade units. Like all EarthQuaker Devices pedals it is built only with high grade components. The Warden is, thanks to its six controls (Tone, Level, Sustain, Ratio, Attack and Release), an extremely versatile and adjustable compressor pedal. The Warden will allow everything from a heavy squash with fast attack and release to barely there subtle compression. The 9V power supply voltage will be internally converted to 18V giving loads of headroom and extended dynamism. The optical electronic circuit delivers a compression with more character and the Tone control allows for treble boosts and cuts. The Warden is true bypass and handmade in Ohio/USA. The Warden V2 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.

Das Tone Job Pedal ist mit Reglern für Level, Treble, Mid und Bass ausgestattet, wobei Treble, Mid, Bass aktiv arbeiten, mit je +-20dB Regelbereich. Der Level-Regler liegt hinter dem EQ und kann den Pegel um bis zu dem fünffachen anheben. Das EQD Tone Job eignet sich beispielsweise vorzüglich für ein Feintuning des Sounds am Ende einer Effektpedalkette. Der Tone Job V2 verfügt über einen geräuschlosen, relais-basierten Soft-Touch Fußschalter. Audiosignale haben keinen Durchgang, wenn das Gerät nicht mit Strom versorgt wird.

The Tone Job is a complete tone enhancement tool with EQ and Booster suitable for guitar, bass, synthesizer and more. The Tone Job is equipped with controls for Level, Treble, Mid and Bass, where the last three will cut or boost up to 20db. The level control will boost the signal (post EQ) up to 5 times the input depending on where the dial is set. The EQD Tone Job can be used for example at the end of the effect chain for tone fine tuning. The Tone Job V2 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.
