The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Der Charakter der Verzerrung hängt stark von der Einstellung des Weight-Reglers sowie vom Pickup Ihrer Gitarre ab. Mit dem EQ-Bereich des Pedals können Sie den Sound weiter verfeinern.
Obwohl der passive Dreiband-Equalizer seine Wurzeln in einer sehr vertrauten Vergangenheit hat, wurde er subtil modernisiert. Diese Art der Klangformung mag zunächst schlicht wirken, zeigt sich aber dann doch als komplex und ausgesprochen interaktiv. Hier sind ein paar Hinweise, wie Sie den Zoar besser verstehen und optimal einsetzen können.
Wenn die Regler Bass, Middle und Treble alle auf Null gestellt sind, durchläuft kein Signal das Pedal. So funktioniert ein passiver Equalizer nun mal.
Wenn Sie einen dieser drei Frequenzbereich-Regler auf einen höheren Wert einstellen, wirkt sich das auch auf die beiden anderen Frequenzbereiche aus.
Wenn Sie alle drei Bänder auf „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) einstellen, ergibt sich ein völlig anderer Frequenzbereich, als wenn Sie sie alle auf „9 Uhr“ einstellen – und das gilt natürlich auch für jede andere abgeglichene Position.
Wie Sie sehen – eine sehr interaktive Sache. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt ist es, alle drei Frequenzbandregler auf „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) zu stellen und dann mit jedem einzelnen Regler zu experimentieren.
Mit dem Dreiband-Equalizer und dem Gain-Regler bieten sich Ihnen nahezu unbegrenzte Möglichkeiten zum Maßschneidern Ihres Sounds. Aber das echte „Betriebsgeheimnis“ des Zoar ist der Weight-Regler. Mit diesem Regler legen Sie fest, wie groß der Anteil des Tieftonbereichs ist, der in die EQ-Schaltung geleitet wird. Damit lässt sich der Klangcharakter dramatisch verändern. Stellen Sie einfach die Regler des Dreiband-Equalizers auf „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) ein und drehen Sie am WeightRegler, um ein Gefühl dafür zu bekommen, wie er den Klang beeinflusst. Von einem reinen Clean-Boost über eine HighGain-Verzerrung bis hin zu Overdrive und knackigem Hi-FiFuzz bietet Ihnen diese Funktion das volle Spektrum.
Der Level-Regler hat etwa bei „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) den Verstärkungsfaktor Eins (Unity Gain) – dies hängt jedoch von der Stellung der anderen Regler ab. Neben der Steuerung der Ausgangslautstärke spielt es auch eine gewisse Rolle bei der Steuerung der Klangcharakteristik des Zoar. Indem Sie den Level-Regler und die drei Frequenzbänder des Equalizers (Anheben der Frequenzbänder und Reduzieren der Ausgangslautstärke) kombinieren, können Sie dramatische Effekte erzielen, die an traditionelle Tiefpassfilter erinnern. 
Möchten Sie Ihrem Sound die sprichwörtlichen Flügel verleihen? Dann versuchen Sie, Zoar mit höherer Spannung zu betreiben! Zoar kann mit einer Spannung von bis zu 18 V Gleichstrom betrieben werden. Höhere Spannungen verändern den Frequenzgang; Dynamik und Ansprechzeit verbessern sich. Wenn Sie eine 18-Volt-Stromversorgung verwenden, klingen die cleanen Signalanteile offener, die Verzerrung wirkt druckvoller, während einzelne Noten artikulierter zu hören sind, der Treble-Regler deckt ein breiteres Spektrum ab, ohne rau zu klingen – und der Ausgangspegel ist beinahe doppelt so hoch! Das Resultat ähnelt durchaus dem Sound einer Wand aus kraftvollen Röhrenverstärkern!

Zoar™ is a highly interactive medium-high gain discrete distortion (using only transistors; no opamps or diodes in here!) that has that highly sought after touch sensitive amp-like quality. While having its roots in a very familiar past, the passive 3-band EQ has been finely tuned for modern tones. While this style of tone shaping seems simple on the surface, it is deceptively complex and highly interactive - yet surprisingly easy to instantly dial in dozens of mind blowing sounds.  
This meticulously crafted box has six knobs that allow you to truly customize your sound with the Level, Weight, Gain, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls. 
The Gain control on Zoar™ goes from the edge of break up all the way over the cliff into the crunchy, grinding abyss. The character of the distortion is heavily dependent on the setting of the Weight control as well as the pickup type and further fine-tuned by the EQ section.
The 3-Band EQ and Gain controls give you nearly unlimited options with great focus and sensitive precision, but the real powerhouse of Zoar™ is the Weight control. This control dictates the amount of low end that is passed into the circuit, thus controlling the entire character of the pedal. Simply dial in the 3-Band EQ to 12 o’clock and adjust the Weight to see how drastically it dictates your sound. From a mere clean boost to a high gain distortion to overdrive to the crispy Hi-Fi fuzz territory, this function gives you everything.
The Level control hits unity around noon, but this is dependent on where the other controls are set. In addition to controlling the output volume, it also plays a small part in controlling the voice of Zoar™. By adjusting the Level control with any combination of EQ (boosting the frequency bands and cutting the output volume), you can achieve drastically different curves that have the feel of the more traditional low pass filter type tone control.
Want to elevate your sonic spirit to a higher level? Try running Zoar™ at higher voltage! Zoar™ can handle power up to 18v DC. Higher voltages will yield a different frequency response with more defined dynamics and a faster response. When powered at 18v, the range of clean tones are widened, dirty tones become punchier with better note articulation, low frequencies are tightened, higher frequencies will cover a broader spectrum without becoming harsh and the output volume nearly doubles! The experience is not unlike plugging into a wall of high wattage tube amplifiers!

Der Dreifach-Modulationsbereich-Schalter bietet die Modi Slow Sweep, Fixed Resonance und Fast Sweep. Mit dem Master-Rate-Regler lässt sich die Geschwindigkeit in den verschiedenen Modi feinabstimmen. The Grand Orbiter is a four stage analog phaser that offers classic and unconventional phaser and vibrato sounds, it can go from stationary and resonant to fast and swirly. The Grand Orbiter can be turned from phaser to vibrato via a dedicated switch and features a three way toggle switch to select between the ranges of modulation. One of these ranges, kills the LFO and allows the Grand Orbiter to work as a fixed resonant filter. The three ranges offer the following modes: Slow Sweep, Fixed Resonance and Fast Sweep. The Rate control allows to fine tune the speed of the LFO in each one of the modes. It can be activated in standard latching operation or in momentary operation, by just holding the footswitch down for as long as you'd use the effect. Der EarthQuaker Devices Plumes basiert auf dem legendären grünen Overdrive Pedal, das seit Jahrzehnten als Industriestandard gilt. Im Zusammenspiel mit einem guten Röhrenverstärker erzeugt der Plumes eine warme, transparente Sättigung. EarthQuaker verzichtet auf den bewährten JRC4558 OpAmp und die BJT Buffer und ersetzt sie in der Schaltung durch Low Noise JFET OpAmps für einen präziseren Sound mit deutlich geringerem Grundrauschen. Mit 10 Megaohm Eingangsimpedanz bietet das Pedal einen wunderbar klaren, detaillierten Sound. Der Arbeitsbereich des Tone-Reglers wurde ebenfalls angepasst um mit einem satteren Low End ein breiteres Spektrum an möglichen Sounds zu bieten.

The EarthQuaker Devices Plumes is based on the legendary green overdrive pedal, which has been the industry standard for decades. In combination with a good tube amp, the Plumes creates a warm, transparent saturation. EarthQuaker Devices relinquishes the trusted JRC4558 OpAmp and BJT Buffers and replaces them with low noise JFET OpAmps for a more robust and precise signal with a significantly lower noise floor. With 10 megohms of input impedance, the pedal provides a stronger signal with more clarity and chime. EarthQuaker Devices adjusted the cutoff of the tone control to deliver a more useful range of travel with more booming bass on the low end without sacrificing the cutting midrange and bright top end.

In addition, the Plumes offers three selectable clipping modes to ensure that it will work with a wide variety of gear and playing styles. Mode 1 is symmetrical clipping based on a pair of LEDs. This is the crunchiest setting the Plumes has to offer. When played through a clean amp, it will deliver that classic crunchy valve amp tone. Mode 2 is a clean boost without soft clipping and with straight OpAmp drive, perfect for pushing your clean tone out in front or driving the preamp of an already overdriven amp into breakup saturation. Mode 3 is an asymmetrical silicon diode arrangement like an original screamer but with more output and clean clarity.

The Ten Years (Is A Decade) pedal is a custom-built drive unit created by Jason Moser for the artist St. Vincent. It is a stompbox adaptation of the preamp circuit found in the vintage Peavey Decade amplifier. The pedal’s name is a playful reference to its circuit source. Its control set includes a two-knob configuration, typically labeled "Pre" and "Post", to manage gain and output volume, along with a Normal/Saturation switch for selecting different clipping styles. A three-band equalization section, typically Low, Mid, and High, is provided for detailed tone shaping.

The Fuzzrocious The Demon is a low-to-medium-high gain drive pedal with inherent distortion-like capabilities, designed for both guitar and bass. At low drive settings, it can achieve a smooth "just on the verge of breakup" sound, and at higher settings, it delivers a powerful pushed amp sound. When equipped with the optional gate/boost mod, its capabilities expand into a sputtery, gated fuzz range. The pedal is praised for its warm, responsive overdrive and its wide tonal range, which is often described as having a unique blend of OCD and Rat tonestack qualities. It maintains a low-mids presence and minimizes bass loss.

The Way Huge Tone Leper is a legendary, now out-of-production mid-boost pedal from the original Way Huge era. Das EQD Tentacle erzeugt einen klassischen Octave-Up-Effekt abgeleitet aus dem Hoof Reaper Pedal. Regler benötigt das Tentacle nicht, nur einen Fußschalter. Das EQD Tentacle lässt sich solo einsetzen oder mit jedem beliebigen Fuzz-, Overdrive- oder Distortion-Pedal kombinieren. Zudem funktioniert der Fußschalter als Standard Latching Schalter als auch als Momentary Switch, sodass du den Effekt immer nur genau so lange nutzen kannst wie du ihn brauchst. Das Tentacle arbeitet analog, ist mit True Bypass und einer geräuschlosen relais-basierten Soft-Touch Schaltung ausgestattet, verfügt über ein neues Gehäuse und wird in Handarbeit in Ohio/USA gefertigt.

The Tentacle is a classic analog octave up effect. It is the very same octave from the popular Hoof Reaper pedal. It doesnt need any knobs, just one footswitch. The EQD Tentacle works just as well on its own as it does with fuzz, overdrive and distortion pedals. It can be activated in standard latching operation or in momentary operation, by just holding the footswitch down for as long as youd use the effect. The Tentacle is all analog, True Bypass with a silent relay-based switching, equipped with new enclosure and is hand made in Ohio, USA.

The Echodriver has been the core distortion sound of Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age), delivering a harmonically rich, mid-scooped voice with the clarity and power to cut through any mix over his last few years of touring.

The tone stack uses a notch-style filter, similar to classic fuzz circuits, offering a broad sweep of EQ flexibility. The Tone control scoops mids at center, rolls off low end when turned down, and rounds off highs when pushed up—letting you shape the pedal’s response to your guitar and amp with surgical precision.

Clipping is handled by a dynamic combination of MOSFET and NOS Germanium diodes, producing warm, touch-sensitive gain. A right-side toggle engages Silicon clipping for a more aggressive, compressed response. The left toggle bypasses the tone stack completely, delivering a full-range, unfiltered drive straight to your amp.

Powered at 9 to 18 volts (center-negative) for added headroom and punch.

Particle™ is a granular delay / pitch shifting pedal. It chops your signal into small grains and then rearranges, shifts, and mangles it, using the techniques of granular synthesis in real time. Five delay and three pitch modes give intuitive control over random delays, bubbling textures, cinematic soundscapes, time stretching, stutter, and glitch sounds. Freeze notes with adjustable threshold for stutter, punch in, or drone-line effects. Lock multiple parameters to tap tempo or MIDI sync with independent note divisions for intricate rhythms. A few quick button taps combine all of the modes for ambient textures or layered glitches.

Das TVL Raven ist das zweite Pedal der Signature-Serie, die Dr. No in Zusammenarbeit mit Troy van Leeuwen entwickelt hat. The TVL Raven is the second pedal in the signature series created by Dr. No in collaboration with Troy van Leeuwen. It features two distinct sections: a filter and a booster, which can be used independently or together. The filter section uses a “Raven Skull” knob that switches among three capacitor-based frequency ranges, plus a “Q” potentiometer to control resonance or bandwidth. The booster section is a volume-boost control that lets you dial in clean gain. The design is handmade, includes custom cosmetic touches tied to the TVL series, and complements the TVL Octavia in the shared tonal vision. The Raven and Octavia were both used on QOTSA’s Villains album and tour.

The Fuzz Master General is our take on the vintage Ace Tone Fuzz Master FM-2 Professional fuzz machine, an octave fuzz that was very similar to the wildly popular Super Fuzz. We have taken the basic circuit and re-imagineered it to be more useful for the modern player. The Fuzz Master General features a more accurate Fuzz control that delivers a much broader spectrum of dirt tones ranging from nearly clean through full buzz saw assault. We added a “Voice” toggle to further enhance your dirt desires and wrangle a more variable tone out of the classic circuit. This toggle selects between germanium, silicon and no diode clipping. This has a huge impact on the characteristics of fuzz tone, upper octave clarity and output level. Germanium diodes offer more output and an open, looser fuzz tone while the silicon diodes compress the signal and yield a tighter fuzz tone. When the voice is set to no diode clipping (center position) you can attain a nearly clean upper octave that boarders on ring modulation! While the original Fuzz Master had a foot switch to select between two different tone settings, The Fuzz Master General has a variable tone control that allows you to dial in anything from a wide open treble assault to a super-scooped, bass heavy blast. It also has significantly more output volume and a much lower noise floor than the original, vintage unit. With all these added features, the Fuzz Master General delivers a more versatile version of the original while still retaining the same swelling octave grind we all know and love. Each Fuzz Master General is made by human hands in mostly tropical Akron, Ohio.

Die Schieberegler für Sensitivity und Range steuern den Vocal Envelope, Fuzz kontrolliert den Grad an Verzerrung und der Bright-Schieberegler fungiert als Tone-Regler, der wunderbar mit dem Fuzz interagiert. Der Sub-Schieberegler fügt eine Suboktave hinzu (je nach Setting wahlweise eine oder zwei Oktaven nach unten), während der Rate-Schieberegler den Phaser kontrolliert. Über einen internen Trim-Poti lässt sich zusätzlich das Feedback des Phasers steuern. Natürlich harmoniert das Way Huge Atreides ohne Probleme sowohl mit Gitarren als auch mit Bässen!

Inspired by a vintage 1980 mini synthesizer, this consciousness-awakening device produces a monophonic effect with many layers that can be manipulate as needed through dynamic playing technique and adjustment of each of its several sliders. Kicking the footswitch generates an explosion of growly sub-octave, expressive vocal envelope, swooshing phase, and gnarly fuzz sounds. Ascend the high dune and gaze upon an expanding world of musical delights full of pure imagination. The Sensitivity and Range sliders control the vocal envelope, Fuzz adjusts the amount of fuzz and distortion and the Bright slider works as tone control that interacts with the Fuzz setting. The Sub slider adds sub-octave with an internal switch toggling 1 or 2 octaves while the Rate slider controls a phaser layer with an internal trim pot for adjustable feedback. The Way Huge Atreides works perfectly with bass or guitar.
