Pedal Wah

WAH

Description

The EMB Audio Pedal Wah is a boutique handmade wah pedal derived from the classic rack-mount "Remote Wah" originally produced by EMB Audio. It features a fully analog signal path with studio-quality headroom, and avoids traditional wah-potentiometer, gear, or optical mechanisms to reduce mechanical wear. The pedal uses a large “Big Foot” chassis with a foot-plate activation design rather than a typical treadle, and allows adjustable parameters including START, FINISH, DEPTH and WEIGHT to shape the sweep range, sweep behavior, intensity and tonal weight. Users can select from four different pedal sweep tapers and can choose effect ON/OFF at heel position, toe position or both. The sweep range is extremely wide and flexible (approximately 50 Hz to 4,500 Hz). It offers true bypass, multiple output-level options, and supports mounting on a pedalboard via pre-drilled holes. The unit can be powered by six AA batteries or a 9 V DC power supply (center negative).
