Die Drive-Schaltung verfügt über einen gesockelten 8-Pin-Dual-Inline-Operationsverstärkerchip, der einen lötfreien Austausch für individuelle Verzerrungscharakteristiken ermöglicht. Dedizierte TRS-Send/Return-Effektschleifen für beide Kanäle ermöglichen eine unabhängige externe Signalbearbeitung oder das separate Routing mehrerer Tonabnehmer. Ein separater Boost-Fußschalter sorgt für eine sofortige Pegelanhebung, ergänzt durch einen Phasenumkehrschalter zur Vermeidung von Phasenauslöschungen im Tieftonbereich.

Developed in collaboration with bassist Billy Sheehan, the bass overdrive unit splits the incoming signal into parallel clean and distorted paths for dual-rig tonal blending. Independent Level controls balance the clean and drive channels alongside dedicated Drive, Tone, and a Hi/Lo frequency range switch. An integrated post-mix compressor offers High, Mid, and Off modes with internal threshold and compression level adjustment trimmers. The drive circuit features a socketed 8-pin dual inline op-amp chip that allows solderless replacement for customized distortion characteristics. Dedicated TRS send/return effect loops for both the clean and drive channels enable independent outboard processing or discrete multi-pickup routing. A dedicated Boost footswitch delivers instant gain staging, complemented by a phase inverter switch to eliminate low-end phase cancellation.

You’ve been Mayered (on a budget)

Analog Man hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Jim Weider das Pedal herausgebracht, nach dem seit vielen Jahren gesucht wurde - den King Of Tone (KoT). Es gibt viele Overdrive-Pedale auf dem Markt, aber keines von ihnen hat den Ton der Gitarre bewahrt und die richtige Menge an Overdrive ohne Kompromisse hinzugefügt. Es gibt einige gute Clean-Boosts, aber sie haben einfach nicht genug Drive, um dem Verstärker wirklich die Verzerrung zu geben, die man sich oft wünscht. Es gibt einige neuere OD-Pedale, die einen großartigen Frequenzgang haben, aber für mich klingen sie zu TROCKEN, ein bisschen steril und pappig. Analog Man, in collaboration with Jim Weider, have come out with the pedal we have been looking for for many years - the King Of Tone (KoT). There are many overdrive pedals on the market, but none of them have been quite right, preserving the tone of the guitar and adding the right amount of overdrive without compromise. There are some good clean boosts available, but they just don't have enough drive to really give your amp the distortion you often want. There are some newer OD pedals that have a great frequency response, but to me they sound too DRY, a bit sterile and cardboardy. There are also some nice sounding pedals available but their sound is too "saturated", losing the touch and feel of your guitar. That is where the King Of Tone pedal comes in - it has enough warm overdrive but still preserves the tones of your quality guitars and amps. If you are looking for a big change in your sound, or a lot of distortion, this is probably not the pedal for you.

It is optimized for pedalboards where space is at a premium while retaining the characteristic “mid-hump” overdrive that made the Tube Screamer family iconic.

The TOD-9 takes Maxon’s classic OD-9 circuit and adds a tube gain stage at the front end to create an ultra-compact, tube-driven tone machine.
The TOD features a mil-spec 5703WB JAN Raytheon sub-miniature vacuum tube complete with its own separate Gain control (Tube knob).  This tube stage is positioned at the front of the audio path, driving the OD-9 circuit.

The Nano Big Muff Pi 2 is a compact analog fuzz effect that revives a previously unreleased dual op-amp fuzz circuit. It delivers thick sustain, heavy fuzz, and a rich tonal character that sits between vintage Big Muff sounds and more modern grit. It includes simple controls for Volume, Tone, and Sustain so you can shape output level, EQ, and the amount of distortion and sustain. True bypass switching preserves the clean signal when the pedal is off.

Das EHX Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz wurde ursprünglich von Josh Scott von JHS Pedals und dem Grafikdesigner Daniel Danger als Hommage an Electro-Harmonix in der Blütezeit des Unternehmens in den 1970er Jahren entworfen. Das EHX Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz ist eine Version des Pedals in Nanogröße, die von den Ingenieuren von Electro-Harmonix zum Leben erweckt wurde und alle Töne und Schwingungen des ursprünglichen Schaltungsdesigns von Josh besitzt.  

Der Sound ist inspiriert von EHXs Fuzz-Pedigree mit einer einzigartigen analogen Oktavschaltung, die den Vibe des Originaldesigns hat, das erstmals 2022 in der JHS Show vorgestellt wurde. So entsteht ein völlig neuer und einzigartiger EHX-Fuzz-Sound, den wir noch nie zuvor gehört haben. Um die Geschichte weiter zu erzählen, ist das Pedal mit Vintage EHX-inspirierten Grafiken geschmückt, die von Daniel entworfen wurden.  


Originally designed by Josh Scott of JHS Pedals and graphic designer, Daniel Danger as a homage to Electro-Harmonix in what Josh and Daniel consider the company’s design heyday of the 1970s, the EHX Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz is a nano-sized version of the pedal brought to life by the engineers at Electro-Harmonix that has all of the tones and vibes of the original circuit design by Josh. The tone is inspired by EHX’s fuzz pedigree with a unique analog octave up circuit that has all the vibe of the original design first featured on the JHS Show in 2022. This creates a completely new and unique EHX fuzz sound we’ve never heard before. To further tell the tale, the pedal is adorned with vintage EHX-inspired graphics designed by Daniel.

Housed in EHX’s Nano-sized chassis, the EHX Lizard Queen is a fixed gain fuzz pedal which features Volume, Octave, and Balance knobs. Volume controls the overall output volume level. The Octave control adjusts the level of the octave-up signal from zero to full octave chaos. Perfect for dialing in a crushing rhythm sound or a chimey, clanging lead sound. The Balance knob sets the tone balance between the smoother Shadow setting and the raspy, biting Sun setting. The effect of the Balance control is especially apparent with the octave set high.

Lizard Queen

Now in an MXR mini housing, the Classic 108 Fuzz gives you all the same vintage fuzz tones in a much smaller footprint. Like its larger predecessor, it's loaded with the silicon BC-108 transistor for a round and dirty crunch. This Classic 108 Fuzz also has the same no-nonsense control interface—just crank the Volume and Fuzz controls to your liking and start riffing. Use the Buffer switch on the side to make the fuzz play nice with wah pedals.
