Fuzzmaster

FUZZ

Description

The Fuzz Master is a modern take on the vintage Maestro FZ-1S fuzz tone circuit, combining NOS TFK BC109C gain transistors with low-noise MPSA18 buffering. It offers selectable clipping modes: Classic 2N2222 transistors, red LED clipping, and NOS Germanium diodes for versatile fuzz character. A Balance control blends the clean signal with fuzz, while the Sustain knob governs gain and the Volume sets output level. Dual footswitches allow bypass and mode switching, with a long-press for temporary enable or disable. The pedal operates on 9 V DC (centre-negative) and draws approximately 66–70 mA. It is handmade in Poland and designed for players seeking classic silicon-era Maestro fuzz tones with modern switching and filtering flexibility.
