La Gioconda is the most mysterious and iconic masterpiece of Leonardo. Dophix’s Tremolo effect is inspired by the veil of mystery surrounding La Gioconda. For the first time, Leonardo wanted to capture a subject’s soul, which is there but unreachable. Gioconda looks elusive, sometimes idoled and loved but also assaulted or mocked.
