Michelangelo combines the Dynamism of valve sound with the definition of a pedal effect.

The heart of Michelangelo is made entirely of JFET transistors, which characterize a dynamic and warm sound recreating the effect produced by a Tube (Valve) head.

Thanks to the three position switch it is possible to select three distortion modes with silicon, germanium and JFET semiconductors.

The possibility to choose the type of distortion makes Michelangelo extremely flexible, with distortions that offer the whole range from a boost, to light crunch, to overdrive up to a very defined distortion typical of the one produced by a valve head.

Another great feature of Michelangelo is the presence of a preamplifier and an output boost, both separately controllable and activated through a dedicated “BOOST” footswitch.

This is how the strong sound and character of our first pedalwas represented. the care given in the creation of the circuit and the warm feature of the sound made us shout:“The pedal is not afraid of anything and anyone!” Phrase paraphrased even by some users of the product, who have found the power on stage during the evenings live concerts.

Der Tremolo-Effekt besitzt eine rätselhafte und zweideutige Seele, und wie Leonardos Kunstwerk kann man ihn entweder lieben oder hassen. Das Gioconda Tremolo verfügt über Depth- und Rate-Regler.

La Gioconda is the most mysterious and iconic masterpiece of Leonardo. Dophix’s Tremolo effect is inspired by the veil of mystery surrounding La Gioconda. For the first time, Leonardo wanted to capture a subject’s soul, which is there but unreachable. Gioconda looks elusive, sometimes idoled and loved but also assaulted or mocked. The tremolo effect possesses an enigmatic and ambiguous soul, and like Leonardo’s artwork, you either love or hate it. The Gioconda Tremolo features Depth and Rate controls.
