OVERDRIVE
Description
The Does It Doom Walpurgis Vol 2 is a "Sabbathic" overdrive and preamp designed to capture the iconic tones of Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler. It features a JFET-based emulation of a late-1960s Laney Supergroup amplifier fused with a modified Rangemaster treble boost inspired by the Dunwich Rangeblaster. The pedal operates with an internal 36V of headroom for tube-like response and includes a three-way input toggle to select between Bass, Treble, or Jumped preamp channels. Controls for Bass, Mid, Treble, Presence, Gain, and Volume offer full command over the amplifier emulation, while Ritual and Range knobs manage the boost circuit. It is versatile enough to be used as a traditional overdrive or a dedicated preamp into a power amp. This second volume expands on the original by unlocking the full four-band EQ and gain controls previously unavailable.
