The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 2 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for MIDI-controlled amplifiers and devices, USB connections to a computer, or a sound card. The 4x TRS thru connections will also work great for true stereo setups with keyboards or synthesizers. It can also be used to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or as a central access point to your pedalboard via its 4x TRS thru connections.

Using an effect loop switcher on your pedalboard allows you to easily remove all your effects from the signal path creating a path of least resistance to maintain full tonal integrity when they aren’t in use. Using a dual effect loop with Flexi-Switch Technology® allows you to create two distinct loops of effects and then introduce or remove them all on the fly with ease!

The Bit : Legend of Fuzz has been compared to the Shin-ei Companion FY-2 fuzz, but with a stronger gate on circuit settings.  Some say, it’s a sound that haunts you at night… the desperate 8 bit beep that reminds you your heart is empty and you are close to death. Nostalgia is a lie. It tells you some how something that was is better than what is or what could be. Here it is though. A fuzz that elicits the sound of old video games… I guess. I mean, a lot of my gated fuzzes can do that for you. This one likes to particularly twist your guitar signal in a way that’s relatively like a saw tooth… a pretty fucked up saw tooth. Maybe we’ll define a new kind of saw tooth wave shape now… shark tooth, because that’s what this fuzz sounds like… a shark’s mouth full of teeth ready to clench down, and it doesn’t matter if a few are lost while eating cold rusted steel from a 1950′s buick rotting on the bottom of the ocean, because there is more where that came from. Unmerciful bastard of a fuzz really… just like that beep beep beep counting down the moments till your inevitable death

The Source Audio C4 Synth unites all the sound construction tools of a classic Eurorack modular synthesizer and packages them in a compact and easy-to-use effects pedal for guitar or bass. Der US Fuzz nimmt den massiven Fuzz-Sound, für den der Peaker und der Aenima von Torn bekannt sind, schlägt aber ein enges und ausgeprägtes Gate am Ende zu, so dass die Noten, wenn sie ausklingen, einen schnellen und unbarmherzigen Tod sterben. Er emuliert den Sound eines klassischen Fuzz in einem High-Gain-Verstärker und kombiniert den reichen Charakter klassischer Fuzz-Sounds mit der übersteuerten Natur warmer Röhrenliebe, ganz ähnlich wie der klassische American Woman-Sound, der über den Garnet Herzog-Verstärker erreicht wird.

The US Fuzz  takes the massive fuzz sound the Torn’s Peaker and Aenima are know for, but slams a tight and distinctive gate at the end so as notes trail off, they die a quick and ruthless death. It emulates the sound of classic fuzz into a high gain amp, combining the rich character of classic fuzz sounds with the overdriven nature of warm tube love, very much like the classic American Woman tone achieved via the Garnet Herzog amplifier.
