Description

The ‘Custom Fuzz’ guitar distortion/sustainer effects pedal is inspired by the Pete Cornish G-2, and features the same four stage overdriven discrete transistor circuit with additional Germanium components that generate much warmer sounding harmonics. The circuit also uses the same component values as the G-2, including rare NOS germanium diodes. The diodes used are the rarest of the bunch, and sources are dwindling fast. In fact, we will only be able to make a handful more of these pedals. The ’Custom Fuzz’ also features the Cornish Buffer Preamp with it's superior RFI rejecting capability and Low Impedance output, allowing the use of extended cable runs in bypass mode. The Unity Gain Buffer also prevents "Ghost noise" being audible in Bypass Mode. Unlike the Cornish pedals however, the ‘Custom Fuzz’ features a slide switch inside the unit to turn this bypass buffer off and engage True Bypass mode. It also features a LED footswitch with internal brightness trim, and Volume/Tone/Sustain controls.
