The sound of classic studio optical compression of the 60’s and 70’s at your feet! The first compressor pedal not to suck the life out of your tone. Operation is fairly straightforward. There are two inputs on the front side of the unit: a 1/4″ input jack on the right and a 1/4″ output jack on the left with a battery-ground switch on the input jack. There are two controls on the unit: compress and volume, plus a foot switch to bypass the effect, and an LED to indicate effect operation. On the side there is a trim pot to set the overall gain of the unit. Compress affects the amount of gain reduction (compression) of the input signal. Turning this clock wise will give you up to 30dB of gain reduction (depending on input gain).

The Demeter Amplification Tremulator in the small enclosure with red knobs is a rare, early version of the iconic optical tremolo pedal designed to emulate the classic Fender amp tremolo sound. Housed in a compact “bottom screw” box with distinctive red knobs and “The Tremulator” script on the face, it features simple controls for Depth and Speed, a footswitch, and an LED indicator. The pedal includes an internal trim pot for adjusting the bias of the optical circuit (accessible by removing the bottom plate), offers a slight clean boost, and runs on 9V power via a 1/8" mini plug rather than a standard barrel connector. Known for its warm, pulsing tremolo and legendary reliability, this version is prized by collectors and musicians for its vintage build and classic tone. The main differences between the small enclosure, red knob Demeter Tremulator and the standard TRM-1 Tremulator are cosmetic and related to production era: the early version is smaller, features red knobs, and is more collectible, while the TRM-1 is larger, uses black knobs, and is more widely available. Both share the same optical tremolo circuit and controls, so their sound and performance are virtually identical. Any minor tonal variation would be due to component age rather than design.

COMP-2 Compulator Pro

By marrying the classic Fat Control/Midboost with our new Overdrive we have created the ultimate overdrive/distortion pedal. From fat crunch to extra fuzzy to over the top, this pedal does it all. The midboost goes from thin to ballsy, while the overdrive has the ability to go from edgy clean to filthy in germanium mode and edgy to dirty while in silicon mode.

Fat Control: Our classic circuit updated for this pedal. The tone ranges from flat buffer to 12dB of Fat Boost. It is like turning your strat pickup into a P90. The boost frequencies are set to produce maximum sustain.

FOD-1 Fat Overdrive

The BEQ-PB Bass EQ Preamp Pedal is a pedal version of our famous on board Bass EQ. It has active equilization for treble, middle and bass. The treble and bass are both shelving controls with 14dB of boost and cut @ 6dB per octave. The middle control is a peak control with plus and minus 12dB of cut and boost @ 6dB per octave. A gentle slope of 6dB per octave was chosen because the amount of phase shift is greatly reduced and the resulting sound is both more cohesive and natural with very little of the comb filtering that would normally happen with a 12dB per octave approach. The unit also has a master volume control, internal gain trimmer (with up to 9dB of gain), a battery jack usable with any regulated supply (9 to 27 volts), a bypass footswitch and an indicator LED. The unit was first designed in 1981 and was fine tuned with the help of Alfonso Johnson, Bob Glaub and Leland Skylar.
