Das RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 ist eine Pass-Through-Box, die speziell für Gitarristen und Bassisten entwickelt wurde. Du kannst das MOD 1 V2 nutzen um mehrere Pedale deines Setups im Front End und im Effekt-Loop des Verstärkers zu postieren (4-Kabel Methode) oder die vier TRS-Anschlüsse als zentralen Zugang und Ausgang des Boards nutzen. Der Death By Audio Robot ist ein Low-Fidelity 8-Bit Pitch Transposer, der keinerlei Rücksicht auf einen musikalischen oder natürlichen Klang des Effekts nimmt. Der erzeugte Effekt ist komplett synthetisch und verwandelt jedes Eingangs-Signal mit vier wählbaren Modi (Normal Lo-Fi Fuzz / Octave Down / Octave Up / Arpeggiator) in einen wilden Mix abgedrehter Roboter-Sounds. Alle Modi werden über den großen Control Knob kontrolliert, der die Frequenz einstellt, mit der der Chip arbeitet und so die Pitch-Shifting- und Aliasing-Effekte ändert. Dreht man den Regler mit dem Uhrzeigersinn ist der Pitch am höchsten, dreht man den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn verringert sich der Pitch oder die Geschwindigkeit des Arpeggiators.

The Death By Audio Robot is a low fidelity 8 bit pitch transposer with absolutely no feelings whatsoever. It is completely synthetic and transforms any input into a puree of resynthesized robot jargon. Features bendable super lo-fi fuzz, octave up, octave down, and arpeggiation. All modes are controlled by the large Control knob, which sets the frequency the chip operates at, changing and warping the pitch shifting and aliasing effects. When turned up completely clockwise, it is at its highest pitch. Turning down, counterclockwise, lowers the pitch or speed of the arpeggiator.

This anthology of circuit stages along with a mids control that goes from deep scoop to slightly
boosted mids and two toggles for control of clipping diodes gives tones from dynamic and open fuzz
to compressed singing sustain.

Tone – Full range tone control. Turn it left for low end emphasis, turn right for high end emphasis.
Mids – Turn left for supa-scooped sounds, right for mid presence.
With Tone full left and Mids full right, you can achieve the mid forward boost settings.
With Tone and Mids pointed towards each other, you’ll get scooped tones.

Left Toggle – controls clipping diodes on the 2nd stage. OFF bypasses the diodes for a Supa
Tonebender style clipping arrangement, Clip 1 for standard Silicon clipping.

Most families have one. One who is different, all the while resembling the others. The Crown of Horns is that one in the Black Arts Toneworks family. While the Pharaoh is the utilitarian BMP, the LSTR is the wild and outrageous brother, the Crown is the youngster with different DNA, possibly the mailman’s. Living in the BAT family, The Crown of Horns shares traits of the Pharaoh and LSTR. The heart of the Crown is that of the OpAmp muff with the addition of a hybrid Pharaoh/LSTR tone section. Not quite as middy as the Pharaoh, not quite as scooped as the LSTR. The Crown sits squarely in the middle of the two. What makes the Crown very different is the Horns. The Horns switch will bypass the tone stack altogether for a huge, flat boost of volume. The result of this is highly interactive with your amp. Different amps and settings within the amps will give results ranging from a huge volume boost to a slab of fat saturation. Your creativity will find ways to utilize the Horns. Wren and Cuff hatten schon immer die Idee ein Fuzz Pedal speziell für die vielen Bassisten zu entwickeln, die eine gute Verzerrung lieben. Einige Bassisten nutzten bereits das Original Pickle Pi, da es dafür bekannt war als Gitarren-Effekt außerordentlich gut mit den niedrigen Frequenzen eines E-Bass zu funktionieren und ein sattes Fuzz zu erzeugen, das am Bass besser funktioniert als viele andere Muff-Versionen. Also verbrachte man bei Wren and Cuff Monate damit, ein Bass Fuzz zu entwerfen, das auf der DNA des Pickle Pie basiert. Das Pickle Pie B Bass Fuzz verfügt über einen FET Buffered Active Clean Boost, um Volume Drops zu vermeiden, wenn das Pedal während des Spielens eingeschaltet wird. Die FET-Hybrid Clipping-Sektion erzeugt ein großartig klingendes Fuzz und ermöglicht eine natürliche Vermischung von Fuzz und Clean Signal, anstatt das Clean Signal einfach mit dem Fuzz zu überlagern, wie es andere Pedale mit Clean Blend machen. Wren and Cuff always had the idea of creating a fuzz pedal designed for the many distortion loving bass players out there. Some bass players already used the original Pickle Pie because of its reputation as a 'guitar' pedal, that could handle the low frequencies of the bass and give a nice spongy fuzz much better than most pedals of the Muff family, so Wren and Cuff went back to the drawing board and spent months on designing a bass fuzz, based on the DNA of the Pickle Pie. The Pickle Pie B bass fuzz features a FET buffered active clean-boost to avoid 'drop-outs', when you kick on the fuzz when playing live. The FET-hybrid clipping section creates a great sounding fuzz and helps the fuzz to mesh with the clean signal in a natural way, instead of just sitting on top of the dry signal like some fuzzers with clean blends can do. The tone-stack range of the Shape control was specifically adapted for bass with a much less pronounced mid-scoop which helps it to retain presence in a live playing situation. The control range of the Saturation (fuzz) knob makes the Pickle Pie B highly usable at lower gain settings and the pedal can go from a dirty, gritty, slightly over-driven clean-blended bass sound, to fully saturated, watch out for feedback, drop-C meltdown - and everything in-between.

Der Bass War begann mit der Idee, eine Version des Fuzz War zu machen, die noch perfekter für Bass ist.
Death by Audio haben klassische Schaltkreis-Ideen nach ihrem eigenen Geschmack verbogen und ein verruchtes, harmonisch reiches Oktav-Fuzz geschaffen. Es bietet außergewöhnliche Gain-Pegel, einen massiven Tone-Sweep und einen MIX-Regler, der dir alles bietet, was du für das ultimative Bass-Fuzz brauchst, und zwar auf Knopfdruck. Der TONE-Regler ist ein Notch-Filter, der das gesamte Klangspektrum des Fuzz so verändert, dass es klingt, als würde man durch ein Arsenal von 100 verschiedenen Fuzz-Pedalen fegen. Kombiniere dies mit einer wahnsinnigen Lautstärke und einem MIX-Regler, um den extremen Fuzz und die Verzerrung zu erhalten, die du dir schon immer für deinen Bass gewünscht hast, ohne dabei auf Lautstärke oder bodenerschütternde Subs zu verzichten.
