Speed Tripper is an optical phaser placed in the feedback path of a delay circuit - and to our surprise - the results are incredibly unique. The repeats bend in and out of phase with one another, giving filtered, morphing swells that sound beyond psychedelic. It seems like such a simple concept; we were surprised we had never heard this before. The actual sounds of tripping! Slap on the DBA touch where “everything must be done to the extreme” and there you have it, you are tripping on speed!

Vor einiger Zeit haben sich Oliver Ackermann sowie Alex Maas und Christian Bland von The Black Angels zusammengesetzt, um das psychedelischste Space-Tripper-Reverb- und Delay-Pedal aller Zeiten zu entwickeln.

Nach unzähligen Tassen Kaffee und nächtelangen, verrückten Schaltungen landeten wir auf einem Reverb, das interne Reflexionen von Segmenten gekammter Filterwellenform von null bis ins Unendliche vervielfacht, und kombinierten es mit einem sorgfältig abgestimmten, multifunktionalen Delay – und voilà: der PHOSPHENE SCREAM war geboren. Dieses magische Pedal erzeugt jeden Reverb- und Delay-Sound, den man sich vorstellen kann, von den psychedelischen Klängen der 60er bis zu den Zukunfts-Punks, die bereit sind, durch das 22. Jahrhundert zu fliegen.

Die Hall-Effekte decken das gesamte Spektrum ab, das man sich für Reverb wünschen kann – von engen Räumen zur Klangverdickung über realistische Hallen bis hin zu Wellen nahezu endloser Süße. Das Delay ist so konzipiert, dass ein Knopf das Delay einblendet und gleichzeitig die Feedback-Regelung hochfährt, sodass man von slapback-artigen Echos bis hin zum blutjagenden Schrei-Effekt in kürzester Zeit wechseln kann.

Some time ago, Oliver Ackermann got together with Alex Maas and Christian Bland from The Black Angels to dream up the most blasted out psychedelic space tripper reverb and delay pedal of all time.

“It’s gotta dig craters in the moon, man.”

“I want an echo that gives you real live flashbacks.”

“How about a reverb so great I can use it on everything?”

“It has to fit on my pedalboard.”

After many pots of coffee and endless late-night circuit-bending freakouts, we landed on a reverb that multiplies internal reflections of segments of comb filtered waveforms from zero to infinity and smashed it into a meticulously tuned multifunctional delay, and voilà–the PHOSPHENE SCREAM was born. This magic pedal generates every reverb and delay sound under the sun from ‘60s psychedelic movers to the future punks ready to laser through the 22nd century.

The reverberation effects cover the entire range of everything you could dream up in a reverb–tight rooms for thickening, realistic halls to waves of almost never-ending sweetness, while the delay is set up so that one knob blends in the delay while simultaneously turning up the feedback, warping from slapback to bloodcurdling scream in no time at all.

The REPEATER is our version of the Vox Repeat Percussion tremolo.
We've been building a highly modified version of this circuit into our Sonic Boom multi-effects pedals for years and have received about a million requests for a stand alone repeater pedal. We wanted to make sure we offered the best repeater pedal available, so we listened to all your requests before we got down to it. Our REPEATER is the answer to complaints we've received about other Vox Repeat Percussion clones: "There's no expression pedal jack." Check. You can use our repeater with any 100K expression pedal or volume pedal to control the LFO rate hands free. "The (product name omitted) ticks very loudly, so much I can't use it." Check. Our REPEATER has the least LFO background noise and lowest signal to noise ratio of any on the market. The Repeater oscillator is also powered off when bypassed so there is no chance of ticking when bypassed. "The (product name omitted) isn't loud enough, it's not even unity gain." Check. Ours is not only the lowest noise, but it is also the HIGHEST OUTPUT VOLUME, almost twice unity gain! If you want to kick this on after you say "this chord is dedicated to you..." and then make the whole room vibrate, well... you can. "It doesn't go slow enough." Check. Our repeater offers the slowest LFO rate so you can really get creepy.

Der Death By Audio Evil Filter ist ein abgedrehter Multimode-Filter, der in einem extrem schlanken, Laser-geätzten Gehäuse kommt. Der verwendete IC-Chip erzeugt einen einzigartigen, hyper-präzisen Filter-Sound. Mit High-Pass-, Band-Pass- und Low-Pass-Modi sowie zwei wählbaren Resonance-Arten ist der Evil Filter in der Lage, jeden Sound 'in seine Einzelteile zu zerlegen' - oder einfach das vielleicht verrückteste Wah zu sein, dass man je gehört hat. Der Levitation V2 verfügt über einen geräuschlosen, relais-basierten Soft-Touch Fußschalter. Audiosignale haben keinen Durchgang, wenn das Gerät nicht mit Strom versorgt wird.

The Levitation Reverb builds on the base sound found in the Ghost Echo from EarthQuaker Devices and delivers excellent old-school spring and plate reverb sounds. It offers very long adjustable decay times as well as ringing plate and rattling hall reverb sounds thanks to its Atmosphere control. It features controls for Decay, Atmosphere, Mix and Tone, a Length switch for the reverb duration and True Bypass. The Levitation V2 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.

Das Fulltone Clyde Wah-Wah Pedal entstand nach eingehender Analyse von Michaels Fullers 25 Stück umfassender Sammlung alter VOX-Pedale. Da ihm die alten VOX-Teile nicht genug Regelweg hatten, entwickelte er sein eigenes, seinen Vorstellungen entsprechendes Pedalgehäuse. Auf der handverdrahteten Platine des Clyde Deluxe findet man denn auch erlesene Bauteile wie z. B. Kohleschicht-Widerstände, NOS(New old Stock)Tropical Fish 0,22 Kondensatoren, GE (General Electric) 0,1 Kondensatoren sowie natürlich eine speziell nach Fulltone-Vorgaben gefertigte Spule. Durch die s. g. Resonance Control, ein Trimpoti auf der Platine, läßt sich die Bass-Wiedergabe nach persönlichem Geschmack regeln. Das ebenfalls speziell für Fulltone angefertigte Tone Poti verfügt über die gleiche Kennline, welche man bei den Icar Potis der 60er Jahre VOX-Ära findet.

The Fulltone Clyde wah-wah pedal was created after analysing Michael Fuller's collection of 25 old VOX pedals. Since the old VOX parts didn't have enough control travel, he developed his own pedal housing according to his ideas. The hand-wired circuit board of the Clyde Deluxe features exquisite components such as carbon film resistors, NOS (New Old Stock) Tropical Fish 0.22 capacitors, GE (General Electric) 0.1 capacitors and, of course, a coil specially manufactured according to Fulltone specifications. The so-called Resonance Control, a trimpot on the circuit board, allows the bass response to be adjusted to personal taste. The tone pot, also specially made for Fulltone, has the same characteristic curve as the Icar pots of the 60s VOX era.

Der Bass War begann mit der Idee, eine Version des Fuzz War zu machen, die noch perfekter für Bass ist.
Death by Audio haben klassische Schaltkreis-Ideen nach ihrem eigenen Geschmack verbogen und ein verruchtes, harmonisch reiches Oktav-Fuzz geschaffen. Es bietet außergewöhnliche Gain-Pegel, einen massiven Tone-Sweep und einen MIX-Regler, der dir alles bietet, was du für das ultimative Bass-Fuzz brauchst, und zwar auf Knopfdruck. Der TONE-Regler ist ein Notch-Filter, der das gesamte Klangspektrum des Fuzz so verändert, dass es klingt, als würde man durch ein Arsenal von 100 verschiedenen Fuzz-Pedalen fegen. Kombiniere dies mit einer wahnsinnigen Lautstärke und einem MIX-Regler, um den extremen Fuzz und die Verzerrung zu erhalten, die du dir schon immer für deinen Bass gewünscht hast, ohne dabei auf Lautstärke oder bodenerschütternde Subs zu verzichten.
