Eclipsa

PREAMP
CAB SIM
Description
The Dawner Prince Eclipsa is a sophisticated rotary cabinet emulator and preamp inspired by the rare Yamaha RA-200 rotating speaker system. Its architecture features three independently driven rotating drivers paired with a static 4x12” speaker simulation to create a complex, evolving spatial character. Alongside the rotary section, it incorporates a solid-state preamp based on the legendary Alembic F-2B, utilizing FET technology to provide warm, articulate tube-like response. The pedal offers extensive control over the rotary engine, including adjustable virtual microphone distance, inertia for speed transitions, and a blend control to mix rotating and static elements. Modern features include full MIDI implementation with 127 presets, an expression input for real-time speed control, and stereo outputs. It utilizes a magnetic relay switching system that allows users to toggle between true bypass and a buffered "preamp-on" mode.Media
