Daredevil Pedals ist eine kleine Boutique-Effekt-Schmiede aus Chicago, die sich mit handgefertigten Pedalen in relativ kurzer Zeit einen sehr guten Ruf in der Szene erarbeiten konnte. Das Programm der Company setzt sich überwiegend aus Verzerren für unsere Freunde aus der Gitarrenfraktion zusammen und bietet momentan lediglich ein Pedal, das speziell für die Verwendung mit den tiefen Frequenzen entwickelt wurde. Kaum verwunderlich, dass es sich beim einzigen Bass-Pedal von Daredevil auch um einen Verzerrer handelt – oder genauer gesagt: ein Fuzz! Dieses hört auf den respekteinflössenden Namen “Almighty Bass” und wird heute von mir durch den bonedo-Testparcours gejagt.

Chicago-based boutique builder Daredevil Pedals has introduced the new Almighty Bass pedal. The Almighty Fuzz is an original design circuit, not a variation of some other pedal. The gain is biting and thick, with enough tonal options to cover a lot of ground without the normal low end loss that some bass effects have. Lots of volume and gain on hand... great for blending with your DI signal or your normal amp gain.

Get all the great cocked wah sounds without the wah pedal. No more trying to engage and find the sweet spot during a solo. Just dial it in, crank up the gain, and you're ready to lay down some sweet, squawky tone.

What we have is a smooth sweeping wah with a single knob to set your pitch. A boost section has been added to give you more gain and power as needed. Balance these two features out with the Blend control, adjusting how much wah signal goes to output. Very cool for dialing in the cocked tone subtle enough to be left on all the time, or for just a bit of a frequency tweak. Full clockwise gives you the complete effect. The gain section is warm, loud, and gives a nice crunch to your amp's output. No need to try and hit a boost before hand, it's all there. Get the killer tones from the likes of Mick Ronson, Micheal Schenker, Slash, etc… Accept no substitutes.

The Fearless distortion boasts dual channel gain with Hi and Low settings, coupled with the classic fixed wah tones of the Atomic Cock.
Wah filtering can be stomped in or out of the signal path and blended to control how present the effect is in the distortion circuit.

The Fearless is a Daredevil original design op amp distortion, powerful attack but warm and dynamic as well. Low channel gets dirty, bluesy, and vintage, covering all your old school Marshall / Blackface Fender territory. Hi gain setting builds up to a huge saturated tone with big bottom and very full midrange.

Dieses 2-in-1-Pedal wurde für maximale dynamische Kontrolle über Fuzz- und Oktavesound entwickelt und verfügt über unabhängige Schaltkreise mit einem optionalen Noise-Gate, um den Sound tight zu halten. Dieses eigenständige Fuzz-Design hält die Regler einfach ... Volume und Gain, mit einem tiefen Ton-Stack, um das Low-End anzuheben oder zu dämpfen. Auf Linksanschlag klingt es nach Vintage und schön hell mit genug Textur um sich durch den Mix zu schneiden. Drehe den Depth-Regler nach rechts und höre wie dein Low-End angedickt wird und dein Sound moderne Fuzz Power bekommt. This original design Fuzz keeps the controls simple... Volume and Gain control, with a depth tone stack to boost or attenuate the low end. Counter clockwise it sounds vintage and bright with enough texture to cut through. Turn the depth knob to the right and listen to the bottom fatten up, bringing your tone right back to modern fuzz power. The Octave above circuit is stacked before the fuzz giving you the most the effect has to offer. Double stops turn into swirling, gnashing sonic feq-out. High end harmonic tones that stir up Hendrix-like sustain and singing sweet bite. This is an independent channel... stack it with your other favorite effects or use the Fuzz side on it's own. The options are limitless. The noise gate control can be increased turning clockwise, cutting out the background hiss in between playing... which can be helpful at high gain settings with the Octave engaged. Bypass the noise gate when using the gain or volume rolled back to keep all the subtleties intact.

Daisho

The Bootleg is a digital delay that utilizes the Princeton 2399 IC. This was designed to give classic tones that sound similar to vintage tape machines, emulating the bucket brigade analog delay circuits. It’s increasingly more lo-fi and dirty when driven at intense or longer settings.

What sets this apart from the rest is the Dirt section of the circuit, adding gain to the repeats. The decay will become brighter as it tails off…the opposite of most “tape style” delay units. Includes a Tap Tempo input for remote setting capability using a momentary switch.
