Description

The Ugly Twin is an all-analog multi-effect pedal featuring independent octave, boost, and hybrid fuzz circuits connected in series. Developed in collaboration with guitarist Brad Fry of the band Pissed Jeans, the pedal combines his preferred gain-stacking stages into a single unit. The fuzz section utilizes a hybrid silicon and germanium design coupled with a three-band tonestack for extensive sonic shaping. The boost is a discrete transistor circuit, while the octave provides a classic, aggressive analog upper-octave effect. Each section has its own dedicated footswitch, allowing for versatile combinations suitable for both guitar and bass.
