The DOD FX59 Thrash Master is a high-gain distortion pedal from the early 1990s. It shares its circuitry with the FX56 American Metal but was engineered with different components for a more modern heavy metal sound. The pedal features Level, Presence, and Distortion controls to allow for a range of tones. Its distinctive fluorescent pink design and aggressive sound were aimed at the thrash metal genre of the era.
