  A silent relay true-bypass switching circuit selects between 2 separate overdrive/distortion channels – low and high gain - each with its own controls for ultimate versatility.  Low gain channel is voiced after late 60s Super Bass while high gain channel sounds and responds like a late 70s Master Volume British amp.

Use the XT footswitch to control the operation of the modulation section of the Sidekick JR independently. Engage or true bypass the modulation effect.

Sidekick Jr XT

For this new incarnation of Splash reverb we took all the algorithms of the multi-awarded mk3 version, the plate and shimmer algorithm from Sidekick and added 3 more exciting reverb algorithms, two modulated and one flanged freeze reverb algorithm. 

On top of that we added the extra flexibility of controlling decay and excite controls on all algorithms via an external expression pedal and / or the on-board footswitch thus creating the ultimate ambient tones.

The dry signal is still 100% all analog and we chose to do all the mixing and filtering of the wet signal also in the analog domain to get the best of both worlds.

From its inception / invention, in the mid-70s, this wireless system has been the secret recipe to major rock star guitar rigs.  The magic ingredient lies to its analog preamp / tone enhancer circuit that expands the dynamic response and harmonics of any signal that goes through it. By producing a modern recreation of this hidden gem, we have ensured enough percussive attack to spice up your tone. Besides boosting the signal, the preamp tightens up lower frequencies and slightly accentuates mid frequencies while the Dynamic Expansion circuit enhances the dynamic response and harmonics of the signal giving punch and attack to ensure that it will cut through the mix.
