The Sonic Doom is an extreme high-gain fuzz and distortion pedal designed for maximum volume, infinite sustain, and crushing low-end power. Its circuit is engineered to provide massive saturation and "towering headroom" without the typical loss of low-frequency punch or clarity common in high-gain effects. The interface consists of Gravity (fuzz/sustain), Sonority (tone shaping from grit to chaos), Focus (mid-range control), and a Master volume that is noted for being exceptionally loud. Version 4 of the pedal features an updated chemically etched enclosure with a hand-oiled finish and a soft-click footswitch. It is hand-built in limited yearly batches and is frequently utilized by doom and drone metal musicians for its ability to push clean amplifiers or power amps into "sonic devastation."
