Cooper FX's Exp Gen is a four output, multi-faceted expression controller perfect for adding movement and depth to your pedal board without the need for extra limbs. With four assignable outputs, the main soft button determines what mode to run per output—these include auto, tap, tigger, and latch.
Auto mode is a set modulation that runs cyclically with no need to engage, while tap mode determines the rate of modulation based on tapping in the tempo via the footswitch. Trigger mode sweeps the modulation in an upward motion from zero, where the amount and length of modulation is based off of how long you press the footswitch, while Latch mode acts in the same way—but instead of resetting when the footswitch is released, the modulation holds out the amount at which it was last released.

Much like certain retro video game consoles, the Arcades will allow the user to swap cards to select the experience they want. Instead of a video game however, the change of a card will result in a different bank of eight effects.

This is the sound of nostalgia. The Generation Loss brings together all aspects of tape degradation and uses a combination of effects to hone in on that sound we’re all familiar with. Generation Loss refers to the decrease in sound quality and introduction of noise and sound artifacts each time a copy is made on magnetic media such as tape. Random pitch fluctuations, filters to cut down on the signal’s bandwidth, sample rate reduction, and noise are all brought together in this pedal to mimic that sound without the need for a broken VHS player.

Generation Loss

Outward ist ein einzigartiger Delay- und Timestretching-Sampler. Es gibt zwei Modi, Timestretch und Delay. Jeder dieser Modi hat drei weitere Untermodi.

Die ersten beiden Delay-Modi sampeln dein Audiomaterial und halten das Sample für eine mit dem Speed-Regler eingestellte Dauer. In diesen beiden Modi ermöglicht der Fußschalter das Einfrieren des Audios im Delay-Speicher.

Im Envelope-Modus wird das Audiosignal aufgezeichnet, wenn das Eingangssignal einen bestimmten Schwellenwert überschreitet, und auf unbestimmte Zeit oder bis zum erneuten Auslösen der Hüllkurve wiedergegeben. Mit dem Fußschalter im Hüllkurvenmodus wird die Empfindlichkeit ganz heruntergedreht, so dass keine eingehenden Audiosignale die Audiosignale im Verzögerungsspeicher überschreiben können.

Outward is a unique delay and time stretching sampler. There are two modes, timestretch and delay. Each of these modes has three further sub-modes.

The first two delay modes sample your audio and hold the sample for a duration set by the speed knob. For these two modes the footswitch allows the user to freeze the audio in the delay memory.

In envelope mode, audio is recorded when the input signal goes above a certain threshold and plays back indefinitely or until the envelope is triggered again. The footswitch in envelope mode turns the sensitivity all the way down so no incoming audio can overwrite the audio in the delay memory.
