Nobelium is a low-noise, high-quality, studio-grade clean preamp and D.I. It has a nice wide frequency response to be perfect for bass or guitar, and includes a switchable HPF to cut down on unnecessary rumble. With an input impedance of 10MΩ it’s perfect for any active or passive device, even your piezo pickup-equipped upright bass. Nobelium comes loaded with a pair of 12AU7 (ECC82) tubes and is equipped with an Unagi Magnetics E4305 D.I. transformer. The output source switches at the top provide flexible routing options, allowing you to run either output from the preamp or as a passive passthrough. This can allow you to send a preamp signal to the front of house while sending a dry passthrough to an amp. Or you can keep both amps connected to the preamp and send a 1/4″ output to an onstage monitor, etc.
