Bricks ist ein Doppelpedal, das mit dem Ziel entwickelt und gebaut wurde, die Sounds des ikonischen Gitarristen David Gilmour zu erreichen. Dank seines einzigartigen Stils hat er der Welt einige Werke von unschätzbarem künstlerischen Wert geschenkt. Visionär, eklektisch, elegant und verständlich sind nur einige der Attribute des Gitarristen aus Cambridge, die Bricks will unser Tribut an diesen großen Künstler sein.

The Bricks will sich dem Bereich Distortion/Overdrive widmen und so viele Lösungen wie möglich objektiv nachbilden, die Gilmour im Laufe der Jahre eingesetzt hat. Die Schaltungen sind alle original, wenn auch stark inspiriert von den Referenzgeräten, die der englische Gitarrist verwendet hat.

Bricks is a double pedal designed and built with the aim of obtaining the sounds of the iconic guitarist David Gilmour. Thanks to his unique style, has given to the world some inestimable artistic value works. Visionary, eclectic, elegant and intelligible are just some of the attributes of the guitarist from Cambridge, the Bricks wants to be our tribute to this great artist.

The Bricks wants to devote itself to the distortion/overdrive sector, objectively recreating as many solutions as possible adopted by Gilmour over the years. The circuits are all original, although strongly inspired by the reference units used by the English guitarist.

Eruption ist ein Distorsion-Pedal, das mit der starken Inspiration entworfen und entwickelt wurde, den Gitarrensound der ersten 6 Van Halen*-Alben nachzubilden, den Eddie Van Halen* als den Brown-Sound bezeichnete.

Eruption ist daher ein Pedal mit zwei Funktionen: Wer den originalen Plexi-Sound mag, kann den Variac-Regler niedrig halten und erhält den typischen historischen Marshall-Sound (wobei er die Menge an zusätzlicher Verzerrung nach Belieben steuern kann); wer den Brown-Sound von Eddie Van Halen* nachbilden möchte, hat die Möglichkeit, die Menge an virtuellem Spannungsabfall zu wählen und so die typische harmonische Reaktion zu erzeugen, die Sie ins Jahr 1978 zurückversetzt.

Eruption ist kein Klon von anderen Effekten auf dem Markt, sein einzigartiges Design wurde vollständig von uns erfunden, es ist nicht einmal dazu gedacht, ein bestimmtes Gerät zu replizieren; es ist einfach ein Distortion-Pedal, das in der Lage ist, diese ikonischen Gitarrensounds zu evozieren, ohne die Notwendigkeit für riesige, sperrige und unerschwingliche Geräte.

Eruption is a Distorsion Pedal designed and developed with the strong inspiration of recreating the guitar sound of the first 6 Van Halen* albums, the one Eddie Van Halen* used to call the brown sound.

Eruption is therefore a dual function pedal: those who are fond of the original Plexi sound can keep the Variac control down and get the typical Marshall historic sound (managing the amount of extra distortion as desired); those who want to recreate the brown sound of Eddie Van Halen* have the possibility to choose the amount of virtual voltage drop thus generating the typical harmonic response that takes you back to 1978.

Eruption is not a clone of other effects on the market, its unique design has been fully invented by us, it’s not even intended to replicate a specific device; it’s simply a distortion pedal capable of evoking these iconic guitar tones without the need for huge, cumbersome and prohibitively expensive equipment.

Im Inneren des Treble Booster Gold Edition (von einigen Nutzern „Ingot - Il Lingotto“ genannt) befindet sich ein Rock You Treble Booster, der mit einem Wembley Treble Booster verkettet ist und über ein Potentiometer verfügt, das den Ausgangspegel jedes einzelnen Treble Boosters regelt. Brian May pflegte den ersten Treble Booster immer aktiv zu halten (im Falle des Ingot Dual Treble Booster sprechen wir von Rock You) und gelegentlich den zweiten Treble Booster für bestimmte hellere Passagen zu aktivieren. Mit dem Ingot Dual Treble Booster ist jeder erdenkliche Sound leicht zu erzielen.

Inside the Treble Booster Gold Edition (nicknamed, or rather, renamed by some of its users “Ingot – Il Lingotto”) we can find a Rock You Treble Booster daisy-chained to a Wembley Treble Booster, with the addition of a potentiometer that regulates the output level of every single Treble Booster. Brian May used to keep the first Treble Booster always active (in the case of Ingot Dual Treble Booster, we’re talking about Rock You) and occasionally activating the second Treble Booster for certain brighter passages. With Ingot Dual Treble Booster every imaginable sound is easily obtainable.

Endlich ein Preamp/Overdrive-Pedal, das in der Lage ist, den Sound eines Vox AC30 „Normal Channel“ auf vollanaloge Weise zu reproduzieren, indem es sowohl die Tonarbeit des Vorverstärkers als auch die Klangeigenschaften des Endverstärkers nachbildet und die harmonischen Details seiner charakteristischen „no-negative feedback distortion“ hervorruft.
Brian May ist zweifellos die Quelle der Inspiration und sein unglaublicher Sound begleitet ihn seit den 70er Jahren; das Kensington-Pedal hat den Vorteil, dass es bei jeder Lautstärke und mit jedem echten Verstärker gespielt werden kann.

Finally a preamp/overdrive pedal capable to reproduce the sound of a Vox AC30 “Normal channel” in a full-analog way, replicating both the tone-work of preamplifier, and the sound qualities of the power amp evoking the harmonious details of its characteristic “no-negative feedback distortion”.
Brian May is undoubtedly the source of inspiration and his incredible sound has accompanied him since the 70s; Kensington pedal has the advantage of being played at any volume and with any real amplifier.
