OVERDRIVE

The Pimento Sardine is a hand-crafted overdrive pedal made in France by Celmo Labs. It features an analog sag-emulation circuit called E.A.S.E. (Enhanced Analog Sag Emulator). It offers two controls for Drive and Volume plus a three-position Color switch with settings Fat Melon, Lime and Pimento to alter tonal character. The enclosure is a brushed-metal style box resembling a sardine can and includes true-bypass switching. The sag-emulation is described as imparting a vintage flavor with strong note-to-note clarity and an expressive response rather than heavy distortion.
