The Catalinbread Wake is an eight-voice digital chorus pedal designed to deliver lush modulation without overwhelming a guitar signal. Je mehr du den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehst, desto mehr werden die Signalspitzen abgesenkt. Der Sustain-Regler steuert die Stärke der Kompression und sorgt für einen straffen Sound und ein natürliches Sustain ohne Verzerrungen.
Das CS-3 basiert auf einer leistungsfähigen VCA-Schaltung, die eine stabile und gleichmäßige Kompression mit minimalem Grundrauschen ermöglicht. Mit seinem charakteristischen, ausgewogenen Ansprech- und Kompressionsverhalten sorgt das Pedal für einen transparenten Klang über alle Spielstile hinweg. Je mehr du den Regler zurückdrehst, desto softer werden die Höhen, was einen warmen, weicheren Sound erzeugt, der sich besonders für Genre wie Jazz und Neo Soul eignet. Ganz egal, ob du eine Extraportion Biss oder Samt benötigst – mit dem CS-3 kannst du deinen Sound flexibel an deine Musik anpassen.

Compression evens out volume differences by lowering loud sounds and raising quiet ones. The CS-3's Attack knob lets you set how quickly the circuit makes this adjustment. Turning it clockwise preserves string attacks more strongly and creates a crisper, more percussive sound. The more you turn the knob counterclockwise, the more the signal peaks are reduced. The sustain knob controls the strength of the compression and ensures a tight sound and natural sustain without distortion.
The CS-3 is based on a powerful VCA circuit that provides stable and consistent compression with minimal noise. With its characteristic balanced response and compression characteristics, the pedal delivers transparent sound across all playing styles. Whether crisp country licks, powerful power chords, or singing solos, the CS-3 is an indispensable tool for better sound.
The tone control makes the CS-3 even more versatile. It lets you control the EQ of the compressed signal. Stronger settings emphasize the high frequencies and create a sharper, more cutting sound—perfect for crystal-clear arpeggios, funky rhythms, and passages that need to stand out. The more you turn the control back, the softer the highs become, creating a warm, softer sound that is particularly suitable for genres such as jazz and neo soul. So what is a " barber pole through-zero flanger?"
Well, essentially, the Shepard's End is a flanger, but its unlike any flanger you've ever heard, played or experienced.  While the term "Barber Pole" sounds neat-o-speed-o, what it really means is that this flanger does not have a beginning, or an end to its cycle.  WHAT?!

You know how most flangers go up, then back down?  Well, this one doesn't do that.  Nope.  It goes up, continually.  It goes down, continually.  It can even go through the zero-point (that amazing over the top wooshing sound you hear on so many records), continually.  This just depends on how you set the controls.  And they're pretty easy to use.

Das Catalinbread Reverb-Pedal hat das gleichnamige Programm des Yamaha FX500 Multieffektgeräts aus den 90er-Jahren zum Vorbild. Maßgeblichen Anteil hatte dieser Ambient-Reverb am Sound der britischen Band Slowdive auf ihrem Album Souvlaki, das heute unter Fans des sogenannten Shoegaze-Stils als absoluter Klassiker gilt. Und das, obwohl die Signalqualität des FX500 laut diverser Aussagen im Netz mit heutigen Maßstäben nicht mithalten kann.

With its roots in that patch, the Catalinbread Soft Focus is intended to be an instant shoegaze button, while addressing the most glaring issues of the original unit: no mix control, a sub-par preamp, and a ghastly tone-sucking bypass signal. At its heart, the Soft Focus is a heavily modified plate reverb with adjustable time, which is subsequently split into three paths. One path contains a multi-voiced chorus modulator, another features a well-appointed octave-up mixed in with the reverb, and the third path leaves the reverb untouched.

Note - The Soft Focus runs from 9 to 18 volts using a standard DC center-negative power supply for pedals. Make sure you’re using a supply that provides at least 100mA. Running the Soft Focus at 9V will sound great, but if you want a bit more output, a dry signal boost and increased headroom, try any voltage you like up to 18V! The Soft Focus does not run on batteries.

The Tribute’s all-analog design is modeled after an earlier Catalinbread favorite, the VariOboost, to offer an exceptionally high-headroom drive engine coupled with a one-band parametric EQ for incredible tone-shaping possibilities. Unser „Clean Little Secret“ ist eine Low-Gain-Plattform, die dank einer verfeinerten Herangehensweise an diesen grundlegenden Klassiker im Handumdrehen einen rauen Sound entwickelt, wobei viele der Mängel des Originals behoben und verbessert wurden.
Wir haben den High-Gain-Marshall-Amp-in-a-Box schon vor einiger Zeit gemeistert, und nun greift unser „Clean Little Secret“ die klassische Low-Gain-Marshall-BB-Formel auf und verleiht ihr die dringend benötigte Verfeinerung. Wir haben alles am klassischen Amp-Enhancer aufgemotzt, vom Tone-Stack bis zur Ausgangsstufe und darüber hinaus, um dir genau die richtige Portion Kick zu geben. Ein komplett überarbeiteter Klangbereich ermöglicht dir die individuelle Steuerung von Höhen- und Bassbändern anstelle eines globalen Tone-Reglers, und wir haben noch ein paar Extras hinzugefügt, um den Unity-Lautstärkepegel deutlich anzuheben. Our take on the low-gain Marshall sound is not to be taken lightly! Our Clean Little Secret is a low-gain platform that gets gritty in a hurry thanks to a refined approach to this foundational classic, with many of the original’s shortcomings addressed and improved upon.
We’ve conquered the high-gain Marshall amp-in-a-box some time ago, and now our Clean Little Secret takes the classic low-gain Marshall BB formula and gives it a much-needed refinement. We’ve beefed up everything from the classic amp enhancer, from the tone stack to the output stage and more, giving you just the right amount of kick. A completely overhauled tone section gives you individual control over treble and bass bands as opposed to a global tone knob, and we’ve added some more bells and whistles to push the unity volume level up quite a bit. Our designer’s favorite op-amp keeps the action whistle-clean until you push the gain, giving you delicious edge-of-breakup tones at the end of the dial, but subdued always-on enhancement tones at any other position. Some secrets are better left unkept!
