Description

The Shigeharu Germanium LTD (Green) is a limited-edition variant of the company’s signature hybrid octave fuzz pedal. Utilizing a combination of integrated circuit drives and discrete transistor gain stages, its circuit architecture is specifically voiced to capture the texture of vintage bubble-font Soviet-era fuzzstortions. It features a parallel octave-up circuit equipped with new old stock Soviet germanium parts to impart a woodier texture and unique sonic harmonic bark. Controls include drive, tone, level, and a dedicated body control designed to prevent classic Big Muff-style configurations from being buried in a dense mix. A momentary havoc switch engages the parallel octave effect on the fly, which can be internally toggled to function as a fixed octave circuit and convert the foot controller into a total kill switch.
