The Costalab Natural Drive is a pedal built on two cornerstones: dynamic and expressiveness. Its circuit is based on more traditional network of distortion with symmetrical clipping. The presence of germanium diodes gives a vintage flavour, very round and full of harmonics. 

The guitar tone is not modified in any way, even with the sustain set to the max, using the volume control of the instrument or just playing with dynamics very light, you can return to the clean sound, viceversa, using it with a energetic playing, the Natural Drive responds by producing a distorted sound rich and incisive. 

The feeling that results is the same that you get playing with the old single-channel tube amp, pushed at maximum volume.

Once you reach the right dynamic feeling, the expressiveness of the guitar player is made very prominent.

Natural Drive mkI

The CostaLab Moon Drive is inspired to the most classic distortion pedal, the Big Muff. Its circuit is based on the four gain stages, two of which house the clipping circuits, which is its greatest strength. Made with germanium diodes, they offer a very personal tone, smooth and with a huge amount of harmonics. 
The tone control is of the type DTC that is Dynamic Tone Control. It works by interacting with the gain control: when you are using distortion at an high level, the sound is rich and open, so the tone should be dosed accordingly; on the contrary, with only a bit of gain, the sound is more closed and less harmonious, opening the tone compensates for this natural feature. The CostaLab Moon Drive is equipped with a Class A buffer is always active, characterized by a very high input impedance.

Moondrive V1

The CostaLab Booster Plus represents the natural evolution of the accomplished and appreciated CostaLab Booster. The basic characteristics of the classic Booster were maintained.  Moreover, the circuit was equipped with a class A buffer that is always on, featured by a very high input impedance. 

This allows you to keep every detail, giving definition and space between notes as well as a rich and tasteful timbre. The presence of the buffer easily repels the radio interferences and improves the general result in the chain of effects, even when the booster pedal is off. 

So with a single pedal you can find both characteristics of the CostaLab Buffer and the CostaLab Booster together in a single unit dimensions. 

Booster Plus V2

The Dual Drive represents the state of the art of the overdrive sound. Inspired by a must as the TS808/TS), in addition, it offers modern solutions and more suitable options to the music of today. The result is a pedal that allows you to have in a single box all the tones of overdrive, the sound of late 70's up to the most modern of today.
The Dual Drive is equipped, in addition to the classic power switch, with a second switch that enables the MORE DRIVE function. By enabling this feature it just select a second gain circuit able to get higher levels of drive.

First stage of gain (Blue light on the right) provides a light overdrive sound that enhances the dynamics and expressiveness of the guitar player even if you are playing with humbukers.

Labyrinth kombiniert die Schönheit und Transparenz des analogen Klangs mit der außergewöhnlichen Funktionalität der digitalen Bedienung. The modern guitarist needs increasingly complex instrumentation, made up of crowded pedalboards, send-return effects, varied sounds, and sometimes even multiple amplifiers to switch on stage during a song.
