Description

The Blade VSC-FX1 is a tone-shaping/boost pedal implementing the patented “Variable Spectrum Control (VSC)” originally used in Blade guitars — now available in a pedal format. The pedal offers two boost modes: a mid-range boost (0–14 dB) and a bass/treble boost (bass 0–9 dB, treble 0–10 dB), enabling players to subtly or significantly alter pickup output and tonal balance. It includes a true-bypass on/off switch and an LED status indicator. Powered by 9 V DC (battery or adapter), VSC-FX1 is built to preserve the natural character of the guitar while providing added clarity, presence, or “sparkle” as needed — making it useful for both clean and overdriven tones. The boost is described as more moderate compared to typical boost pedals, giving nuanced control rather than aggressive gain.
