Zap Master

BOOSTER
Description
Handcrafted in Portland, Oregon, the ZAP Master is a vintage-style germanium treble booster effect pedal modeled after the classic Dallas Rangemaster circuit. Modern noise-filtering power management and metal film resistors are built in to lower the overall noise floor and protect against reverse polarity. A three-way input cap switch provides three selectable bass response settings, expanding tonal options beyond the traditional fixed-value cap. Built with an NPN germanium transistor or an integrated voltage inverter, the circuit allows simple integration into standard center-negative power daisy chains. Output volume is slightly boosted compared to original units, giving extra push to clean tube amplifiers or downstream dirt pedals. The enclosure features top-mounted jacks, true bypass switching, and robust component construction throughout.Media
