Description
The B85 Audio FUZZ MACHINE is a floor-standing, hybrid (silicon/germanium) FUZZ effect with clean track mixing. It is primarily designed for bass guitar, but it doesn't get lost with guitar either. The effect has a fuzz control that can be used to change the strength of the fuzz and the harmonic structure. Shape, changes the shape of the filter. Fuzz vol, changes the gain of the fuzz potentiometer. Clean, changes the clean ratio and the distortion. Pregain, changes the amount of gain in the input stage. Phase switch, which works well with the pregain potentiometer. When the switch is down, the switch acts like a saturation of the pregain potentiometer, and when it is up, it acts like an overdrive fuzz. Next we have the Mids switch, which adjusts the mid frequencies. The Bypass footswitch turns the whole effect on and off. The Gate switch adds an upper harmonic that can be used to achieve a very aggressive sound. The entire effect is handmade, including the circuit board.
