Butler under the Tube Works brand, it operates as a lower-gain sibling to the famous Real Tube overdrive and Tube Driver circuits. The rare "Gold Edition" variation is distinguished by its unique gold faceplate graphic finish rather than the standard black styling. It incorporates a versatile three-band passive equalization section featuring independent control knobs for bass, midrange, and treble frequencies. Players can utilize its interactive drive and output controls to dial in mild edge-of-breakup grit or warm, spongy saturation. The circuit operates natively as a tube preamplifier that can warm up solid-state amplifiers or run direct to a recording board.
