Description
Fourth is an overdrive/distortion pedal composed of a hybrid transistor and op-amp topology utilizing both hard clipping as well as op-amp abuse to mangle the input signal. Fourth was designed to be something entirely new, yet comfortably sit alongside some of it’s trashiest solid-state amp colleagues, the Music Man 112 RD, Epiphone Studio 10s, and the Silvertone 1464 specifically. While the initial intent was to make a trashy drive, Fourth’s versatility has been expanded much further. Fourth stands out among the endless sea of signal clippers for it’s unique breakup characteristics, harmonic content, and picking hand responsiveness.Media
