Description

The Arkham Sound Oracle V1 is a single-channel, vacuum tube pre-amplifier inspired by the iconic Portaflex Bass amps of the 1960s. It features a 12AX7 tube, selected for low noise and good tone, and is powered by a 300VDC power supply. The preamp has a buffered 1/4" output, providing ample gain to feed a modern power amp or the line input of a recording interface. The Oracle features a pedal-sized enclosure with the full Arkham EQ, allowing for a wide adjustment range with minimal interaction. It has dual Lo-Z outputs, Out 1 for normal use (power amp, interface, etc.) and Out 2 for additional use with a DI box. The controls include Gain, Treble, and Bass. The Oracle is designed to be a bearer of rich tones, inspired by the Ampeg Portaflex series. It is a handmade instrument amplifier, crafted with attention to detail and a focus on tone.
