The Surfing Bear Overdrive is an versatile overdrive pedal designed to provide a wide spectrum of tones ranging from clean boosts to warm, light crunch and lead sounds. Its circuit is based on the legendary 808-style overdrive platform but has been modernized to offer enhanced dynamic range, clarity, and responsiveness for contemporary guitarists. The pedal features three standard controls—Volume, Drive, and Tone—to precisely sculpt the signal's mid-range and high-frequency content. Its V2 update includes improved internal components and a relocated footswitch for better playability and easier battery access. The exterior features custom artwork by Australian surf artist Jonas Claesson, reflecting the pedal's lighthearted branding.
