Relaxing Walrus Delay (Custom Yū Orishige)

DELAY
Description
The Relaxing Walrus Delay is a vintage-voiced delay pedal designed to provide the warm and lush repeats characteristic of classic analog echo units. It features a straightforward three-knob interface—Blend, Time, and Repeat—offering a delay range from 1ms up to 500ms for everything from doubling effects to medium-length echoes. An internal trimpot allows users to fine-tune the self-oscillation circuit, enabling the pedal to create "run-away" feedback loops and spacey textures. The pedal is engineered with a modern clarity that prevents the repeats from becoming overly muddy while maintaining a musical, organic decay. Its compact enclosure features custom artwork by Jonas Claesson and utilizes true bypass switching to preserve the original signal path. It is a collaborative effort often associated with the Japanese brand Ninevolt Pedals and their boutique-quality design standards.
Animals Pedal’s RELAXING WALRUS DELAY has been released as a custom illustrated version in collaboration with the film *A Few Minutes of Cheering*.
The RELAXING WALRUS DELAY appears in the film ‘A Few Minutes of Cheers’ as the effects pedal used by Yū Orishige.
This special design features Yū Orishige as she appears in the film, on a delay pedal that combines the warmth of analogue with the clarity of digital.Media
