Das RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 ist eine Pass-Through-Box, die speziell für Gitarristen und Bassisten entwickelt wurde. Du kannst das MOD 1 V2 nutzen um mehrere Pedale deines Setups im Front End und im Effekt-Loop des Verstärkers zu postieren (4-Kabel Methode) oder die vier TRS-Anschlüsse als zentralen Zugang und Ausgang des Boards nutzen. Die XLR-Through-Verbindung kann als Signalausgang vom Pedalboard zum Mischpult oder zur PA verwendet werden.

Der Morning Glory Clean ist eine konsequente Weiterentwicklung des klassischen Morning Glory Overdrives. Ziel war es, Transparenz, Dynamik und Anschlag weiter zu verbessern, ohne den vertrauten Charakter zu verlieren. Grundlage ist eine komplett neu entwickelte Schaltung mit parallelem Clean-Blend in Studioqualität, die Obertöne, leichte Kompression und Durchsetzungskraft des Overdrives mit dem vollen Bass- und Dynamikumfang des Clean-Signals kombiniert.

Der Clean-Regler arbeitet nicht als einfacher Mischregler, sondern ist integraler Bestandteil der Schaltung. Ein Doppelpotentiometer sorgt dafür, dass Clean- und Drive-Signal über alle Gain-Einstellungen hinweg proportional und phasenstabil zusammenlaufen – ohne Lautstärkesprünge. Der Tone-Regler wirkt ausschließlich auf den Overdrive-Pfad, das Clean-Signal bleibt jederzeit unverändert. Eine ±9V-Doppelversorgung bietet deutlich mehr Headroom als klassische Bluesbreaker-Schaltungen und ermöglicht einen klaren, offenen Sound bei jeder Lautstärke.

Der Morning Glory Clean eignet sich als erste Overdrive-Stufe, als dynamischer Always-On-Sound, vor Verzerrern oder Delays sowie vor Amp-Modelern. Auch für Bass ist er dank des Clean-Blend-Reglers flexibel einsetzbar. Das Pedal richtet sich an Spielerinnen und Spieler, die keinen radikal neuen Klang suchen, sondern maximale Qualität, Direktheit und sofort nutzbare Sounds ohne überflüssige Funktionen.

The Morning Glory Clean is a logical evolution of the classic Morning Glory overdrive. The goal was to further improve transparency, dynamics, and attack without losing its familiar character. At its core is a completely redesigned circuit with a studio-quality parallel clean blend, combining the harmonics, subtle compression, and punch of the overdrive with the full bass and dynamic range of the clean signal.

The clean control isn't a simple mix control; it's an integral part of the circuit. A dual potentiometer ensures that the clean and drive signals blend proportionally and in phase across all gain settings—without any volume jumps. The tone control affects only the overdrive path; the clean signal remains unchanged at all times. A ±9V dual power supply provides significantly more headroom than classic Bluesbreaker circuits, delivering a clear, open sound at any volume.

The Morning Glory Clean is suitable as a first overdrive stage, as a dynamic always-on sound, before distortion or delay pedals, and before amp modelers. Thanks to the clean blend control, it's also versatile for bass. This pedal is aimed at players who aren't looking for a radically new sound, but rather maximum quality, directness, and immediately usable sounds without unnecessary features.

Das Electronic Audio Experiments Greathammer ist ein voll analoger Solid-State-Drive und Preamp, der primär für Bassgitarre entwickelt wurde, aber auch für Gitarrenanwendungen äußerst effektiv ist. Es ist eine moderne Weiterentwicklung der „Tri-Comp“-Transistor-Clipping-Schaltung des Traynor TS50B-Verstärkers aus den 1970er Jahren, der für seinen scharfen, klavierähnlichen Attack und aggressiven Grind bekannt ist. Im Gegensatz zum Originalverstärker verfügt diese Schaltung über einen neu gestalteten aktiven Low-Shelf-Filter für den Bass-Regler nach der Clipping-Stufe, der eine tiefe Basserweiterung ermöglicht, ohne den Verzerrungscharakter zu beeinflussen. Ein Attack-Regler steuert die Frequenzen vor dem Gain, um die Schärfe des Plektrumanschlags und die Klarheit anzupassen. Das Pedal enthält außerdem einen Kippschalter mit drei Positionen für das Mitten-Sculpting, der die Wahl zwischen flachen Mitten, einem moderaten Cut oder einem tiefen Notch bietet. Ursprünglich als limitierte Zusammenarbeit mit Obstructures unter dem Namen 0xEAE Bass Driver veröffentlicht, standardisiert das Greathammer das Design in einem kompakten Gehäuse mit externen Bedienelementen und geräuschloser elektronischer Umschaltung.

The Electronic Audio Experiments Greathammer is an all-analog, solid-state drive and preamp designed primarily for bass guitar but highly effective for guitar applications. It is a modern evolution of the "tri-comp" transistor clipping circuit found in the 1970s Traynor TS50B amplifier, famous for its sharp, piano-like attack and aggressive grind. Unlike the original amplifier, this circuit features a redesigned post-clipping active shelving filter for the Bass control, allowing for deep low-end extension without affecting the distortion character. An Attack control manages pre-gain frequencies to tailor the sharpness of pick strikes and clarity. The pedal also includes a three-position toggle for mid-range sculpting, offering a choice between flat mids, a moderate cut, or a deep notch. Originally released as a limited collaboration with Obstructures as the 0xEAE Bass Driver, the Greathammer standardizes the design into a compact enclosure with external controls and silent electronic switching.

Was ist daran so besonders?

Die meisten E-Gitarren sind mit passiven Tonabnehmern ausgestattet und haben eine entsprechend hohe Ausgangsimpedanz. Bei Verwendung eines Gitarrenkabels von 6m oder länger geht im Höhenbereich je länger je mehr vom Gitarren-Sound verloren. Ein Puffer kompensiert diese Signalbeeinträchtigung und somit den Sound-Verlust für lange Kabel – selbst, wenn die Stimmfunktion aus ist.

Der ULTRA-BUFFER verbessert die Klangqualität im Bypass-Betrieb und erhält bei Verwendung eines langen Kabels somit den Sound, ganz gleich, ob es direkt mit dem Tuner oder zunächst mit einem komplexen Effekt-Board verbunden ist.

Der Pitchblack XS erlaubt Wechsel zwischen dem True Bypass- und dem Ultra Buffer-Modus, um in jeder Lebenslage den optimalen Sound zu erzielen.

The Pitchblack XS not only features a true bypass for outputting the sound exactly as it was input, but now includes a built-in ULTRA BUFFER.

Why is this important?

The majority of electric guitars use passive pickups with a high impedance output. When you are using a cable there is a loss of tone, usually high frequencies, after about 6 m (around 18 feet) and this problem gets worse the longer your cable. A buffer boosts the signal over long cables to avoid loss of tone, keeping it clean and clear - even when your pedal is off.

The ULTRA BUFFER enhances the sound quality in bypass mode, so that you can still maintain audio quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner, or when inserting the tuner into a complex effects board.

On the Pitchblack XS, you can switch between true bypass and the ULTRA BUFFER, according to your tastes and environment.
