Der Go Rocky Go ist eine Pedal-Version des berühmten Preamp-Klangs des Vox Conqueror (genauer: „Brilliant“-Kanal), wie er Ende der 1960er bei Aufnahmen genutzt wurde. Er liefert Vintage-Klangfarben, die an Alben wie das Weiße Album der Beatles oder Magical Mystery Tour erinnern. Die Schaltung bildet die originale Verzerrungs- und Mid-Range-Boost-Schaltung (M.R.B.) des Conqueror originalgetreu nach – mit zusätzlichen modernen Verbesserungen. Dazu gehören eine überarbeitete Verzerrerschaltung mit eigenem Lautstärkeregler, ein neuer „Crunch Mode“ für dezente Übersteuerung, und eine Fußschalter-Logik, mit der du mit nur zwei Fußschaltern zwischen Bypass (clean), Distortion, M.R.B. und Crunch Mode wechseln kannst. Der Pedal läuft mit einer weiten Spannungsbandbreite (9–18 V), was bei höherer Spannung für mehr Headroom, mehr Output und mehr Sustain sorgt. Das Gehäuse ist mit Artwork inspiriert von der legendären „Rocky“ Stratocaster gestaltet, und die Schaltvorgänge sind ultra-leise, damit sie sich für den Einsatz auf dem Pedalboard eignen.

The Go Rocky Go is a stompbox recreation of the famed Vox Conqueror amplifier preamp (specifically the “Brilliant” channel), originally used during late ’60s recordings. It delivers vintage-era tones reminiscent of those heard on albums like The Beatles (The White Album) or Magical Mystery Tour. The pedal faithfully reproduces the Conqueror’s distortion and mid-range boost (M.R.B.) circuit, while also adding modern refinements for flexibility and live-performance stability. Among these enhancements are an improved distortion circuit with independent volume control, a new “Crunch Mode” for subtle overdrive, and a multi-switch foot-controller that lets you toggle between Bypass (clean), Distortion, M.R.B., and Crunch Mode with just two footswitches. The unit supports a wide voltage range (9–18 V), allowing greater headroom, more output, and more sustain when powered at higher voltage. The enclosure features artwork inspired by the iconic “Rocky” Stratocaster, and switching is designed to be ultra-silent (no clicks or pops) for clean pedalboard operation.

Dr. Robert pedal is the most accurate replica of the iconic VOX UL730 amp. Made famous by The Beatles as they used it on Revolver & Sgt. Pepper's albums. Also used by The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Page or Joy Division... Only 100 units of this amp were produced and most of them were destroyed. Klaus Voormann (Revolver's cover album designer) has created the artwork for the Dr. Robert pedal.
