When tuning, the noise is perfectly blocked by Low-Impedance Mute of output. When pull up the Tuner Switch, this becomes a 8 band-Equalizer. The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer.

This pedal has a completely different circuit than the usual Overdrive circuits of the 70s. Its sound can be super Clean and crystalline or distorted in a truly spectacular way.

Set with the soft gain, the clean acquires a small compression that highlights the guitar in a spectacular way

When you set the gain higher, the compression becomes slightly more “boxy” but letting the harmonics come out forward in a very particular way.

With the gain at maximum, it is pedal glory. A LEAD sound is achieved that lets you hear every minute detail that comes out of the pickups. Whether making chords, riffs, or single phrases, this high gain pedal has a depth and body that you really don't get with ANY other type of Overdrive.

Soul Press II is a next-gen product in the Hotone Press series pedal line. It's new-designed upgrade is based on the popular concepts of both the Soul Press and Vow Press. It integrates up to four function modes (volume, wah, volume/wah, expression), taking playability to new heights. The pedal position indicator shows the pedal position in real time. The TONE mode selection and Q value adjustment represent an absolute improvement in tone and functionality. Multiple I/O options provide more diverse access. The reimagined pedal size maintains portability while delivering an optimal ergonomic experience. Soul Press II is a truly versatile wah pedal.

All the parts that go into this boutique stomp box are high grade audio components that were meant to be used in tube amp applications. You will find many highly regarded component makers names on the circuit board. Even the wires we used are vintage style cloth wires and military spec silver plated Teflon wires. There is absolutely so compromise in the parts we use.

The Sally Drive offers a warm, full body, natural and rounded sound. It preserves your precious guitar wood tone and doesn't color your amp's tone. It just gives you a natural overdriven tone with very dynamic response to your playing.

While it is based on the original 808 design, the better components and construction in Sally offers much more punchiness, depth, and tube-like characteristic, making the Sally Drive a perfect tool for blues, jazz, and anything that requires extra touch sensitive response to bring out your groove in heart and deliver to your audiences.
