The 6 Degrees FX R3 Distortion is a highly versatile, hand-crafted distortion pedal rooted in the classic RAT circuit but expanded with modern tone-shaping options. It features three distinct clipping modes selectable via the G.A.S. switch — Germanium for warmer and classic rock tones, Asymmetrical for fuller open distortion, and Silicon for tighter and more aggressive saturation — allowing players to access a wide range of distortion characters. Controls include Level, Tone, and Gain for dialing in everything from smooth overdrive to searing distortion, and the pedal uses true bypass to preserve signal integrity when disengaged. Builds are rugged and point-to-point wired, reflecting boutique-level craftsmanship.
