This is a prototypical board of the swedish death metal sound. It consists foremost of the HM-2, which was not a popular pedal at the time, but if you crank up all four controls to max, you get a distinctive thick carpet of overdriven, heavy sound.
The swedish "chainsaw" sound is an influential style of metal that emerged in the late 1980s and early 1990s from the Swedish underground metal scene.
