The Ruby Red is a collaboration with one of our favorite artists, producers, and writers in the industry, Butch Walker. He is most known for his breakout work in the Marvelous 3, as well as his long list of producing successes afterward such as: Pete Yorn, Pink, The Academy Is, Weezer, Panic! At The Disco, Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Fallout Boy, Ryan Adams, and many more. As one of the busiest and most in-demand guys in the industry, when he isn't in the studio, he’s on a stage. Butch contacted us to let us know that he loved the SuperBolt and had been using it in session after session. We started a conversation about his live rig for upcoming dates, and the rest is history. He needed one pedal that could do everything he needed and do it in the simplest and easiest way possible. Primarily playing a cranked Deluxe Reverb and depending on his guitar’s volume control for much of his dynamics, the pedal had to respond like an amp as well as feel like it was an extension of his amp. This is how the Ruby Red was created.

Over the years the Morning Glory is undoubtedly JHS’ most known and praised overdrive pedal. It was created in 2009 out of a need for an overdrive pedal that simply took a guitar and amplifier’s tone to the next level without adding strong mid frequencies or any other characteristic that came along with the Tubescreamer style circuits on the market. Its goal was, and still is, to be incredibly easy to use and to be the most transparent overdrive out there. Whether you play a Stratocaster or a Les Paul, you will instantly recognize how the Morning Glory is touch sensitive and keeps 100% of your instrument’s feel in place.

Ein aktualisierter Clipping-Bereich sorgt für mehr Headroom, einen weicheren Attack und einen reichhaltigeren, dynamischeren Drive-Bereich als je zuvor. 2015 brachte JHS gemeinsam mit Stu G (legendärer Gitarrist, Songwriter, Produzent und Gründungsmitglied der britischen Band Delirious?) das ultimative Distortion-Pedal auf den Markt. Stu wollte ein Pedal, das alle Anforderungen seiner Studioarbeit und seiner ausgedehnten Tourneen abdecken konnte. NEU FÜR 2025: Ein aktualisiertes Design: Die Oberfläche kehrt als Hommage an das ursprüngliche Kilt V1 zu poliertem Aluminium zurück und wird nun mit klassischen Knöpfen im Expandora-Stil kombiniert. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch ein überarbeitetes Kilt-Symbol, das geschickt sowohl auf die schottische Flagge als auch auf die römische Ziffer „X“ für zehn Jahre anspielt. Verbesserte Gain-Steuerung: Der Gain-Regler bietet nun einen weitaus besser nutzbaren Bereich von 0 bis 25 % und ermöglicht damit artikulierte Low-Gain-Texturen, die zuvor nicht zugänglich waren. Stu wanted a pedal that could cover any ground he needed for his studio work and extensive touring gigs. WHAT'S NEW FOR 2025: An Updated Look: The finish returns to polished aluminum as a tribute to the original Kilt V1, now paired with classic Expandora-style knobs. It’s wrapped up with a refreshed Kilt icon that cleverly nods to both the Scottish flag and the Roman numeral “X” to represent ten years. Improved Gain Control: The gain knob now offers a far more usable range from 0-25%, unlocking articulate, low-gain textures that weren't previously accessible. No more dead zones, just smooth, musical breakup from whisper-quiet to full saturation. Enhanced High-End Clarity: JHS refined the top end to help the pedal cut through a mix with greater definition, which is especially noticeable in live band settings where every bit of clarity counts. Increased Volume Headroom: More output on tap translates into a more responsive tone across your entire rig, adding dimension and feel whether you're hitting a clean amp or stacking with other drives. Refined Toggle Switches: The gain toggles have been tweaked for more usable gain parameters while keeping the pedals original feel and settings. The Low-Cut toggle is now far more amp-friendly, working well across a wider range of amplifiers (including amp modeler pedals and software). Diode Choice Enhancement: A new clipping circuit adds more touch-sensitive feel and nuance without departing from the pedal's core identity. It has slightly more compression, distortion on tap, and a smoother attack.

Das JHS Quadra POG Mod ist eine Modifikation des Electro-Harmonix Micro POG Pedals. The JHS Quadra POG Mod is a modification of the Electro-Harmonix Micro POG pedal. It adds two extra footswitches to the original unit, giving the user four unique presets to toggle between on the fly. The modification duplicates the Micro POG's octave knobs and adds independent footswitches to toggle between the original settings and new, external settings controlled by a secondary set of knobs. It allows for independent on/off control of both the octave up and sub-octave effects.
