Combining a flexible volume control platform with the legendary tone-shaping architecture of the EP Booster, this multi-functional pedal delivers classic analog warmth and touch-sensitive dynamic response. Built into a durable aluminum expression chassis, it features a smooth nylon pivot mechanism alongside a 2-band EQ, gain, and volume controls for fine-tuning output. Internal dip switches allow users to toggle between true bypass and buffered signal routing options for the footswitchable boost circuit. Power is managed via standard external DC sources or an internal battery compartment to integrate cleanly into complex pedalboard layouts. It functions seamlessly as an always-on tone enhancer, final chain level manager, or expressive performance tool.

It's frustrating to hear the signal deterioration when playing through a chain of effects. Because of the narrow dynamic range and multiple filtering, these effects greatly disturb the directness and trueness of the guitar signal. Pro-audio mixers standardized Aux send/return function to help solve this problem. This preserved the integrity of the guitar'ssignal and dynamics by feeding the effect with the unaffected signal. The X-Blender incorporates pro-audio engineering technology to solve the sonic imperfection some effects produce and was designed to be completely transparent.

Famous for its woody, organic and beautiful sounds of saturation, these legendary British amplifiers, the Super Lead & Super Bass, have been delivering one of the all-time classic sounds for almost 50 years. Players like Jimmy Page, Paul Kossoff and countless other relied on this type of tone for their signature sound. Xotic has recreated this vintage masterpiece in a rugged small enclosure. The SL Drive offers very amp-like response and cleans up nicely with a roll of your guitar’s volume knob. The internal dip switches allow you to choose the sound characteristics of both 1959 models. The “Super Lead” setting offers a brighter tone with more gain, while the “Super Bass” setting has more low end with less highs. This compact design is a powerful tool for the working musicians.
