Thomas & Simone RhPf Electronics

Monolithic Grooves & Sonic Rituals.
At the heart of Janek’s rig lies the brooding low-end force of RhPf’s Basilisk and the dynamic, touch-sensitive versatility of the Mosferatwo — a combo tailored to the sludgy stomp and riffy swagger of Gentle Beast. From earthquaking doom passages to psychedelic tremble-and-howl sections, his board is designed for maximum feel and narrative control.

The Carl Martin Octa-Switch II anchors the setup for quick live changes, while staples like the Big Muff Pi, Strymon blueSky, and Carbon Copy add saturated filth, cavernous reverb, and analog warmth. A Drone Rainger sits up top for chaotic, glitched-out textures — a clear nod to the band’s more experimental side.

Modulation comes courtesy of an MXR Phase 90 and Ibanez Weeping Demon wah, with additional character from a Pharaoh fuzz and a unique high-headroom overdrive/tone shaper that hints at Janek’s deep commitment to tonal sculpting. Expect seismic fuzz, sculpted mid scoops, and sudden eruptions of beautifully unhinged noise.

The Basilisk is a high-gain stoner doom distortion pedal, delivering crushing low-end, thick sustain, and a roaring fuzzed-out grind. Inspired by the legendary Basel Basilisk, this monster of tone is designed to dominate the heaviest of riffs.

A swampy, greasy bold overdrive packed with touch-sensitive dynamics and three gain stages stacked for bluesy grit or focused bite. From smoky lows to glassy highs, it’s all about feel and attitude.

The OctaSwitch MKII is an 8-loop switcher/looper that allows you to connect effect pedals to its eight effect loops on the back of the unit. All loops feature true bypass, are resistance-free, and use gold-plated relays, making them compatible with both modern and vintage pedals. By toggling the numbered switches in each of the eight DIP bank switches, you can determine which effects are activated simultaneously in each bank. A blue LED indicates the status of each effect loop and bank.

However, the OctaSwitch II offers even more features! The ninth footswitch on the left side is a bypass switch that allows you to completely remove all eight pedals from the signal chain, sending the unprocessed signal directly to the amplifier. Additionally, there are two external switching jacks that enable the use of two amplifiers and/or channel switching on these amps. The OctaSwitch provides a mono input (which can be buffered if needed) and a stereo output.

The world’s top-selling stage tuner, the BOSS TU-2, evolves and improves with the debut of the new TU-3. Housed in a tank-tough BOSS stompbox body, the TU-3 features a smooth 21-segment LED meter with a High-Brightness mode that cuts through the harshest outdoor glare. Choose between Chromatic or Guitar/Bass tuning modes, and enjoy visual pinpoint tuning verification with the Accu-Pitch Sign function. The TU-3 incorporates a convenient Note Name Indicator that can display notes of 7-string guitars and 6-string basses, while the Flat-Tuning mode can support up to six half-steps. It’s the new-standard tuner that no guitarist or bass player should be without!

For musicians who love their guitar and amp’s tone. The Pharaoh pedal, while its roots and DNA are classic fuzz, has a few twists. The Pharaoh has a wide range of clipping and tonal options. From a cleanish boost, to a light OD, all the way to saturated fuzz. It sounds clear and natural, strong and bold. Your guitar sound isn’t high jacked, and your amp’s tone is not destroyed. The Pharaoh utilizes a dual tone control. The tone circuit is designed to suffer little volume loss, and give a natural sound. Your guitar and amp still sound like your guitar and amp. No drastic cuts or boosts. The tone section allows your amp to do the heavy lifting.

The Pharaoh starts with a hi/lo input switch, not unlike that of your favorite tube amp. Lo for more headroom/less clipping. Hi for less headroom/more clipping. A standard fuzz knob. A full range tone control with the addition of a high end compensation knob to allow you to replenish the highs cut by the tone control when boosting lows. The diode selector switch allows for different modes of clipping. Silicon Diodes for a raspy distorted sound, Diodes out for more volume /headroom and less clipping. Asymmetrical Germanium clipping diodes give a warm, tubey old school sound.

The two switches can take the Pharaoh from a clean/ fat boost to light OD which cleans up well with your guitar’s volume knob, all the way to hairy open fuzz. The Pharaoh utilizes signal caps large enough to pass all frequencies through, uncut. Again, a natural sound. This is especially important for bass player; you’ll get huge fuzz with NO low-end loss, and without squishy flubby tones.

It’s a dub-flavoured digital delay (based on our Echo-X delay pedal), that also produces low, throbbing drones that can also be mixed through the delay circuit. If you play shoegaze, doom/heavy/psychedelic rock, or ambient music it’s a fantastic tool for making a powerful base note to play over. Maybe you play in a two piece band? Then it’s essential! You’re a solo electric guitarist making sonic textures?…. You improvise over an atmospheric backing? The Drone Rainger is for you!

This device has found its way into many of Eddie Van Halen's recordings, adding a shimmery velocity to lead passages or a more dramatic swoosh to muted strumming. Not just for guitars; it works well with bass, keyboards and even vocals. Vary the speed from a subtle, long cycle to a fast, watery warble...and myriad vintage vibrations in between. Power: Single 9 volt battery or Dunlop ECB-003 AC Adapter - Controls: Footswitch toggles effect on/bypass (red LED indicates on) Speed knob varies rate of phase sweep

COSMOS is a drifting memory station designed to work with meditative states through music. The design of the controls, functions and generated soundscapes are intended to evoke, in both performer and listener, states and experiences inherent in meditation, such as limitless space, fluidity, spontaneous development, presence, the ability to hear, tranquility, the experience of subtle harmony and happiness enveloping the whole world.

From a functional point of view, COSMOS is a large array of sound memory, in which recorded sounds undergo constant recombinations, spontaneously generating an ever-changing soundscape. This is achieved in three ways — by a mathematical shift based on the relationships between large prime numbers (the size of all delay lines are different primes), an asynchronous operation of the LFO, and modulation with a slowly changing chaotic signal. As a result, it allows the endless layering and processing of various sounds, as in a looper, but without an intrusive, repetitive loop.

COSMOS generates rich, fluid and evolving soundscapes perfect for ambient music. Using COSMOS, you can play an entire meditative solo concert while being in a spontaneous flow and without using studio-prepared sequences, backing tracks and other things that can’t be a reflection of the “here and now”.

The Minibar is a liquid analyser pedal, a truly revolutionary stompbox that uses the properties of a liquid to decide the sound of your guitar!
Rainger FX are inviting you to take part in an experiment in tone-shaping discovery…. This mini-pedal makes no sound at all until you pour liquid into it – any kind at all – and the various qualities of that liquid decide the amount – and to some degree the quality – of the distortion, and also the amount of treble and bass. What you use to do this is entirely up to you – any sort of mixture you can dream up!

Es ist ein Multi-Effekt-Pedal, ganz besonderer Art…

The Pull Focus is a high gain distortion pedal, with either a reverb or chorus effect fading in after a short while.

The distortion is all analog, the reverb, chorus and the fade-in are all digital.
Plus there’s a noise gate too, which unobtrusively keeps the pedal silent when you’re not playing.

This pedal is the new mini version of the Air Traffic Controller – but with a switchable filter. The overdrive circuit (not switchable) is from the – now discontinued – El Distorto, so this is actually a two-in-one pedal. With the filter on and some white noise blended in it gives a’ moogy-soloing’ hi-resonance funk sound, or a stinging and intense lead tone. Filter off gives our tweaked mid-rangey optimum fuzz (as loved by Billy Gibbons).

White noise hiss is a feature often ignored in ‘synth’ pedals, but it can add a great texture to the tone. Here it’s blendable; have none at all, just a clear zing – or crank it up towards electro percussion….

Air Space Invader 2

The Air Traffic Controller mixes a Rainger FX optimum distortion circuit with a white noise 'hiss' generator, and sends the sound through a low pass filter. The cut-off frequency of the filter is controlled in three possible ways; by the envelope of the note (the volume), the pitch of the note, or in a random mode.

This gives variations ranging from a biting edgy funk tone, to airy whisps of sound (hence the name), from fusiony solo-ing with 'synth tracking' to dense shoe-gazy walls of distortion, guitar / electronic-percussion morphing... It's a hugely flexible palette of sounds that's never been possible before.
