The main pedalboard I use across bands and projects, with a consolidated yet versatile layout that makes sure to sound the best it can in every possible scenario I find myself in, with as little compromise as possible. No matter what the crazy jungle that is the underground Portuguese music scene throws at it, this board can handle anything from the scrappiest PA-less basement gig to a full scale show with no compromises.

For amp-less (and the sake of what's left of my back) and amped operation.

AMP-LESS OPERATION:
The amp loop is patched on the MOD2 with a patch cable, with the ToneX pedal handling amp sim duties.

AMPED OPERATION:
MOD2 A/B jacks are patched with:
- C jack going to the amp input

- B <- amp FX send
- C -> amp FX return

The noise gate controls noise on the "pre amp" section of the pedalboard (ES5 and its effects).
The gate send goes to ES5 input.

CONTROL:
The ES5 is the brain of the rig.

Polytune handles muting, so the ES5 mute footswitch is repurposed for CTRL functions.

EXPRESSION:
Dual expression pedal:

The entire rig can also be controlled via a DAW by connecting to the MOD2 MIDI input.

Utilizing operational amplifiers rather than traditional discrete transistors, this distortion/fuzz reissue faithfully reconstructs the late-1970s V4 and V5 circuit variations famously relied upon for the crushing rhythm sounds of 1990s alternative rock. Three gain stages and an active tone control provide massive sustain alongside a dense, gritty fuzz texture. A dedicated tone-bypass switch completely removes the tone stack from the circuit, yielding an unfiltered mid-forward boost with increased volume and raw bite. Original designer Howard Davis collaborated with Electro-Harmonix and The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan to refine and authenticate the sound of this reissue. Housed in a die-cast enclosure, it delivers the signature scooped wall of sound while offering switchable tone flexibility for cutting through live mixes.

Das Pitchfork von EHX ist neben dem Whammy und dem TC Electronic Sub ‚N‘ up das wahrscheinlich beliebteste Pitch-Pedal, das es auf den Pedal-Boards der Welt gibt. Von einem Bekannten, der sich ausgiebig mit dem Löten von Pedalen beschäftigt, habe ich mir sagen lassen, dass der Bau eines wirklich sauber arbeitenden und verlässlich trackenden Pitch-Pedals alles andere als leicht ist. Und das kann man sich gut vorstellen: Viele Pitch-Pedale tracken irgendwie seltsam, klingen entweder im Clean- oder Gain-Bereich jeweils zu matschig und undifferenziert oder können mit bestimmten Frequenzbereichen nicht gut arbeiten. Selbst das von mir hochgeschätzte Red Panda Tensor hat viele Stärken – die Klarheit des Pitch-Effekts ist es nicht.

The TC Electronic PolyTune 3 Noir is an ultra-compact tuner that combines polyphonic, chromatic, and ultra-precise strobe tuning modes within a black mini-chassis. It integrates the renowned Bonafide Buffer circuit to prevent signal loss across long cable runs and complex pedalboards. The pedal automatically detects whether a single string or all strings are plucked and adjusts the display mode accordingly. A dedicated switch allows users to toggle between True Bypass and Buffered Bypass modes for maximum signal flexibility. The display features an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of its 109 LEDs to suit the lighting conditions.

V-3 features the same options as the V-2, so it’s basically the same product in the context of secondary options. However, we played around with the complex opto-system a lot. The main difference between V-3 and V-2 is in the modulation EQ. V-2 modulates just a slight part of the main tone (mid-range focused modulation), while V-3 blends in nicely with the main tone and modulates it without changing the EQ. V-3 has a wider modulation and brings more depth.

Diese natürliche Full-Range-Verzerrung, gemischt mit dem einzigartigen Filterregler, liefert einen klassischen Röhrenamp-Sound, der genre- und generationsübergreifend ist.

Based on an infamous circuit from a classic 1980’s high gain distortion pedal, the Ratsbane is Brian’s answer to the countless requests he has received to build his interpretation of this much-loved design.
The full, dynamic range, and sheer sonic force of this circuit is what makes it a true king amongst distortion pedals.  Turn the distortion control all the way down for a deep but powerful gain booster. Crank it up and you will find rich harmonic overtones and a throaty, fuzz-like distortion.  The “secret sauce” for this circuit has always been the filter control.  Turn it counter-clockwise to cut straight through the mix with precision and high-frequency attack that lets your tone soar with absolute clarity.  Turn it clockwise to filter the top end, for a warm, buttery, yet clear tone. This natural full-range distortion, mixed with its unique filter control, delivers a classic cranked tube-amp sound that crosses genres and generations of music.

Kontrolliere ein Volumen und FX-Parameter ohne dein Pedalboard mit einem weiteren großen Pedal noch voller zu packen. Platzsparen muss nicht heißen auf Funktionalität zu verzichten – das DVP Volume (X) Pedal macht alles das, was sein großer Bruder das DVP3 kann – bei halber Größe und genauso robust gebaut im leichten Alu-Gehäuse. Wie das DVP3 hat es auch die rutschfeste Pedaloberfläche und den patentierten Low-Friction-Band-Drive, der für einen sanften und gleichmäßigen Regelweg und zuverlässige Performance sorgt. If you want to reverse the function of the heel-down and toe-down positions, the DVP4 has another internal switch that allows you to do so.

Das Pedal teilt das Signal in getrennte Frequenzbereiche auf, die phasenversetzt moduliert werden. Dadurch entsteht ein pulsierender Effekt, der sich von klassischem Lautstärke-Tremolo unterscheidet. Der Stereo-Betrieb ermöglicht eine Verteilung der Modulation auf zwei Ausgänge. Das Pedal ist für den Einsatz auf der Bühne und im Studio ausgelegt.

The Monumental Stereo Harmonic Tremolo is a stereo tremolo pedal designed for electric guitar and other instruments. It is based on harmonic tremolo circuits found in vintage amplifiers. The pedal splits the signal into separate frequency bands that are modulated out of phase. This creates a pulsating effect that differs from standard volume tremolo. The stereo operation allows the modulation to be spread across two outputs. The pedal is intended for live performance and studio use.
