Sein Spiel und sein Ton haben die Herzen aller Generationen berührt - deshalb verdient er sein eigenes Signature-Pedal, denn Finnland feiert sein musikalisches Erbe. Bei der Entwicklung des Pedals haben wir darauf geachtet, seine charakteristischen Töne einzufangen, die auf frühen Hurriganes-Aufnahmen und Järvinens erstem Soloalbum zu hören sind.

In the history of Finnish rock guitar, Albert Järvinen stands above the rest. His playing and tone have touched hearts across generations – which is why he deserves his very own signature pedal as Finland celebrates its musical legacy. When designing the pedal’s soundscape, we aimed to capture his most recognizable tones, heard on early Hurriganes recordings and Järvinen’s first solo album.

Albert's Overdrive

Premium quality classic blues/rock pedal that works very well with complex overdriven amp sound. This pedal is now offered as lower-priced pcb-model or hand-wired pedal. Both share the same specs and tone.
It’s a low compression, high headroom overdrive with high output, and it has a Body knob for adjusting low-mid content and treble. The LGW was made to be a stackable overdrive that could go anywhere in the pedal chain and the compression normally associated with this type of circuit is reduced same as several distortion mechanisms.

Distortion levels are controlled by pick attack. Pick harder for more overdrive and play softer for a cleaner tone. Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive (SHOD) is a touch sensitive low gain overdrive pedal. It is designed to overdrive distorted amplifiers and give dynamically controlled light overdrive on clean sounds.

Distortion level can be controlled by pick attack and pickup strength. Harder picking for overdrive and softer for a cleaner tone. With the unique Focus control, you can adjust the feel and dynamics of the pedal as well as overall EQ. Turning Focus CCW you need to play harder to get distortion and the tone is softer, great for jazz and blues. Focus turned CW gives a slight treble boost and earlier distortion great for classic rock.
